Arcueid blinks again and points to herself.]

So... Should I do something about it?

[He looks at her, angling his gaze from under the brim of his dark hat.]

Can you do something about it?

[arctype]

Well. Yes.

Yes I can. [Arc, just make up your mind, the tonberries are advancing.]

But what about you?

[daemonized]

[They are advancing. Slowly, but advancing.]

I can hop in if you really need the help. But I do prefer to stand back and play the part of moral support.

[But with what? He doesn't even have a weapon on him.

And he steps out of his car, shutting the door. He leans against the automobile, eying the tonberries.]

Careful. I hear those knives are sharp.

I can't help, but think you're being kind of lazy.

[Arcueid hops out of the car anyways, striding up to the tonberries confidently. She calls back to Ardyn.]

Where do they even get those knives???

[daemonized]

[Outwardly maybe he does seem like he's being lazy. If he has another reason for it, he certainly won't tell her.

At her question, he just gives an over-exaggerated shrug.]

From the kitchens?

Way out here?? That's silly!

[Arcueid, that's the point... In any case, one of the tonberries quickly makes their way towards her, ramping up into a charge with its knife...]

[Only for it to be grabbed by the head and spun around by Arcuied.]

HIIII-YAH!!!

[Yes. Yes, she just threw the tonberry like a softball and it has landed... Somewhere far, far, far, away...]

New. Surprising, too. He doesn't think he's ever seen a tonberry thrown into oblivion the distance in such an enthusiastic manner.]

[But, ah, if he has any real comment to make on it (and any growing curiosity that he wishes to indulge himself in), it'll have to wait.

Ardyn leans in even more against his vehicle, crossing his arms. He tilts his head, watching the sight.]

Forget about one?

[Because there were two tonberries, and the other is waddling right up to her, knife glinting in the moonlight.]

[She's all revved up and ready to go at them. Arcueid focuses on one tonberry as the other creates some distance between the vampire and itself.

Let's just say that the air suddenly has another flying knife wielding daemon, helplessly flapping its arms and tail in the air as it falls in an arc several miles away.

This girl was monstrously strong, that's for sure.]

[And there goes the other tonberry, blasting off again.

Good lord.]

Well, then.

[Points for Arc. She's sparked more of an interest in him than she had initially; there was definitely something very inhuman about her, that much was obvious. What an astounding display of strength, if not a bit comically employed.

He walks forward, clapping at her display.]

Bravo. The poor little creatures will just have to bother someone else, now. I do hope you didn't land them on someone's doorstep, however. What a surprise that would be.

[Arcueid turns to Ardyn, resting her hands on her hips.]

Well, it can't be helped! They weren't that difficult to deal with so if they do happen to bother someone else, they shouldn't have a problem.

[Not difficult for HER anyways]

[And he speaks plainly, not mincing words:]

Most people will die if faced by one of those. I hope you realize that.

Oh? Really? I wouldn't know since I'm not knowledgeable about the monsters in this world.

And they're also quite light.

[daemonized]

Just because they're light doesn't mean they're not deadly. Don't judge a book by its cover, or they book may just kill you.

[Not quite how the saying goes, but it gets his point across.]

Mmmm. True, true...

[Arc nods in agreement. She isn't human after all so chucking those tonberries in the air wouldn't mean much.]

But, as long as they're out of the way we can continue on.
