[Something clicks in his head whenever he heard that name again. Hiro's expression shifts to something that was a mix of confusion and shock. And just like that, the flood of memories come pouring into his head that it felt like his head was going to split open... He could've easily been mistaken for a shell-shocked veteran who just stepped out of a war. He presses a hand to his forehead as he recalled everything that happened in Cerealia with a pained grunt.

Then taking some steady breaths... He finally speaks again.]

Ow... I-I think... We should sit down.

[emotive]

[Ai is, unsurprisingly alarmed by his reaction when she gives him her name. Instinctively, she reaches for his shoulder.]

Hiro? What's wrong? We can sit down if you want, um...

[She looks around and finds an available sitting space in the form of a bench and leads him over there.]

Y-Yeah... Just shut up for a minute.

[It's rather blunt... But he couldn't put it any other way since his head was still ringing. Fucking ow.

Once he's on the bench, Hiro has his face in his hands and rubbing his eyes. Eventually, he speaks up again.]

You came from Cerealia, right? I met you in that world...

[Hiro, please! She frowns, but doesn't protest as she sits down next to him.

She blinks when he mentions...]

I think. I've seen this same song and dance happen before.

[And Hiro was usually the trigger who bought memories back. So this was actually pretty interesting...]

But now that he had his memories of her back... Well, he didn't want to ruin the mood for now.]

But hey! Long time no see and all! Even through it's weird seeing you in this world.

Ai isn't sure how to take his reply at first and now it's her turn to be skeptical.]

[And Hiro is looking genuinely surprised. Ai being skeptical was a first for him...]

Well, I don't think... Or at least I don't feel that it's been long since we've left Cerealia. Has it?

I don't recall how long it's been since we've last met unfortunately.

[Well, he honestly can't tell... But anything to fluster her a little.]

But when you're awesome and immortal like me... The aging clock moves a lot slower than most.

[If he was a being like Saiduq now, then he was probably going to start looking young and old at the same time.]

[Poor sweet naive Ai. It was probably much less time than she realized. In the end, he'd probably have to break another promise. But this was something he was getting used to... Some heroes had to walk alone.]

[He'll let go with it with a more sincere smile. Hiro still made some quite unpredictable reactions... Sometimes the limit between how he cared for someone and how he made fun of them was blurred.]

Anyway... Let's go to the sweets shop. Been a while since I've eaten genuine sugar.

[He technically didn't need to eat anymore, but he still wanted to. One of many errors in the 'perfect' Administrator.]

[She nods, taking his hand in hers.]

I'll go easy on you and not eat too much.

[Don't mind him as he laughs a little.]

Ehhhh? I thought your gluttony was your charm point! Kinda like an anime character!

They... I'm kind of like that aren't I...?

[She mumbles and glances to the side furrowing her brows. But truthfully, she likes food and it IS for energy replenishing.]

But I can't just spend the whole time with you eating. We should try different things after all!

[Who knows how long he's going to be there by her side anyways?]

[Deep down... Just returning to Earth for a little bit was enough for Hiro. There wasn't much that he honestly desired for himself at this point. Ai was looking to be in good health and he knew his friends were fine too. And it wasn't like godhood wasn't all bad in his case. Watch over and manage humanity, fight different Administrators, gain more knowledge on different worlds and even get a chance to check them out...

This was just a little vacation in a sense. He'll step into the bakery and hum at the menu.]

I wonder if sugar still tastes the same as I remember. I'm so used to trying out other stuff like dark matter and other types of energy.
