More Crossover Continuity ⇒ Double Date, Double Trouble
[After a wild weekend in the town of Blackgale, specifically at Amelia's house, the witch spent most of her time smoothing things over with the questioning locals, grading all of her student's neglected essays, and trying to apologize to the talking cat commune for not warning them about the huge human gathering. It's tough being the only witch in town sometimes. She needed to relax. What does she plan?
Why, another trip to Las Vegas, Nevada of course! Well, it wasn't so much to enjoy the tempting offers of Sin City, but to visit the person Amelia was now comfortable calling a friend, the owner of the... interesting club, Griffonx. Madigan of course!
A quick magic teleportation and search for the hidden club later, Amelia opens up the door to the establishment, dressed casually.

Hello?

I do not know what that is.

Cirque du Soleil? It's a circus, of sorts, with dancers and acrobats and the like. Very stylized, very unique. It's quite impressive.
no subject
We will have to see exactly how impressive it might be.

The name literally means 'Circus of the Sun.' It's been running in Vegas for a while.
We could do that or go to the Venetian later for Phantom of the Opera. I always enjoy that.

A ghost?

Please tell me you're at least familiar with the concept of theater.
no subject
I hope you don't think us so primitive and uncultured? I do not think even I could handle the irony.

no subject
Yes, we have theaters.
no subject
Anyway, yes. The Phantom of the Opera is a play.

It's a combination of all three really, but it's mainly a musical narrative about... obsessive love you can say.

Possibly he's missed them.]And no matter the subject, I'm sure my brother will provide commentary during the performance. Sometimes in a loud voice.

[Doubtful this will happen, but still. Not the point.]

[Looks like Caesar's Palace is up ahead! :|a]
no subject
... This is the palace you mentioned?

But since you asked so nicely, Madigan.]
A magnificent palace, indeed.

Get along children.

Who is this Caesar? Is he the ruler of this city?
no subject
[ She gives Thor a nod of thanks and steps inside ]
No, no. Not even close. Caesar was an emperor, but that was a long, long time ago. This place is just named after him.
no subject
[Through the doors he goes, and he immediately begins taking in all the sights, quirking a brow.] I do wonder if he would be appreciative in having such a place built in his name.
no subject
I think Caesar would like the grandness of it at the very least. He wouldn't be such a conqueror if that weren't the case, but in a way that also lead to his death. Ah. I should have the kids read Shakespeare's play when I get back...
[Always thinking about her students...]

What is all this noise?
