More Crossover Continuity ⇒ Double Date, Double Trouble
[After a wild weekend in the town of Blackgale, specifically at Amelia's house, the witch spent most of her time smoothing things over with the questioning locals, grading all of her student's neglected essays, and trying to apologize to the talking cat commune for not warning them about the huge human gathering. It's tough being the only witch in town sometimes. She needed to relax. What does she plan?
Why, another trip to Las Vegas, Nevada of course! Well, it wasn't so much to enjoy the tempting offers of Sin City, but to visit the person Amelia was now comfortable calling a friend, the owner of the... interesting club, Griffonx. Madigan of course!
A quick magic teleportation and search for the hidden club later, Amelia opens up the door to the establishment, dressed casually.

Hello?

It should be a normal day with nothing unexpected happening whatsoever...]

[He offers her a hand-- a means to teleport them off the roof.]
Should we not?

[She takes his hand :|]

--and oops, into the casino they go! The crowd within is lively and distracted, so no one has seemed to notice their rather sudden appearance.]

And somehow, Amelia is still able to hear her cellphone alert her for a text. She reaches into her pocket to check her messages
and grimaces at the butchering of the English language]Ah. Madigan's wondering where we are.
no subject
We have been gone for a fair amount of time, though I'm surprised it has taken them this long to notice.
[He gets that look in his eyes, coupled with a grin.]
You should respond to them with something vague, confusing, and perhaps slightly worrying for their delay.

[But she simply texts back to Madigan:]
'I'm inside the Bellagio with Loki. I got lost and he found me so we're just going to check out the casino.
P.S. You don't need to text like that. I find it unnecessary and worrisome.'
[And she hits send. She is. So.
BoringProper...]But I don't think I of all people should be letting them worry.

Are they to meet us here?
no subject
We'll see. She should answer back in a few seconds.
no subject
[Well, I suppose they will wait, then.]
no subject
what the surprise italics
So just get a completely innocent look in return.]
no subject
Insufferable.
[Well, not in an angry way anyways]
no subject
Just this face, yup.]

They're back at her club. It seems that we'll be free to be left to our own devices. [And at the part where Madigan is suggesting a certain something... She makes no indication on her face so she just texts back]
Thank you for your concern. I'll be sure to get in touch with you if anything beyond my control occurs. I'm rather uncertain about keeping such company, but then again that seems to be a default factor in my day to day life. C'est la vie.
I'll try to meet back in two hours at the least.
P.S. Lol
That hurt a bit to type out. This is why I don't like using phones.
[Aaaand sent.]

So now we've time for you to indulge yourself in a little gambling?
no subject
Well. We're here and I've got some money to burn and luck to test. Let's go play poker.
Do Asgardians have something similar like that? [And heading over to one of those tables]
no subject
I wouldn't know. But I suppose I can find out soon enough.
