This a post where I'll RP anything with you! Got a scenario in mind? I'LL DO IT. If you wanna chat IDEAS.GIF, contact me at sweethymns or my AIM (rainsweets). I also have LINE as maiscribbles. Have at it!
It's a theory! But for all I know, I'm just dreaming about riding a car with a stranger at night. Any moment now, I'll wake up and think that it was just a pleasant occurrence.
[Arcueid admits things like this too easily, god.]
Although, it would be weird if I dreamed up something like this to begin with...
Ah, a pleasant occurance. You hardly know me and you're paying such a fine compliment. I'm flattered.
[He laughs, a sound carried away by the wind. If he has anything more to say on the matter, it's suddenly lost.
Because there's a soft hue of purple swirling up from the road, like a portal opening. Two small portals. As they draw closer, the headlights of Ardyn's car shine brightly on two strange little figures. Green and hooded, carrying a lamp and... a kitchen knife.
He slows down, his grin sharp. What irony, he thinks. Perhaps they were drawn to his passneger's otherworldly presence?]
[Arcueid, stands up against her better(?) judgement to get a look at the small portals. Would those return her...? Instead, when Ardyn's car shines a light on the "daemons," she blinks, but stares at the tiny squat green figures with fascination.]
"Daemons?" That's a sinister name for a monster if I've ever heard one!
[And Ardyn is putting the car in park, not passing the little creatures. What does that tell you, Arc?]
They'll not let us pass. [Correction: they'll not let her pass, not without putting up a fight.] Of course, unless we wish to turn around completely, we'll have to deal with them one way or another.
[He motions vaguely at where they stand in the road, waddling about.] They're called tonberries. Aren't they precious?
[She's all revved up and ready to go at them. Arcueid focuses on one tonberry as the other creates some distance between the vampire and itself.
Let's just say that the air suddenly has another flying knife wielding daemon, helplessly flapping its arms and tail in the air as it falls in an arc several miles away.
This girl was monstrously strong, that's for sure.]
[And there goes the other tonberry, blasting off again.
Good lord.]
Well, then.
[Points for Arc. She's sparked more of an interest in him than she had initially; there was definitely something very inhuman about her, that much was obvious. What an astounding display of strength, if not a bit comically employed.
He walks forward, clapping at her display.]
Bravo. The poor little creatures will just have to bother someone else, now. I do hope you didn't land them on someone's doorstep, however. What a surprise that would be.

I guess it would seem like magic... But on the other hand there are spirits and beasts that are affiliated with the moon and draw upon its light.
[Like her for instance! She's practically invincible at night (kinda sorta)]
no subject
Are you saying that the moon may have had some similar sort of effect on you, pulling you all the way out into Eos?
[He can't help but wonder what manner of girl she was.]

Look, we have company. Daemons.

Are they going to cause you trouble?

Arcueid blinks again and points to herself.]
So... Should I do something about it?
[JUST MAKING SURE HERE]
no subject
Can you do something about it?
no subject
Yes I can. [Arc, just make up your mind, the tonberries are advancing.]
But what about you?
no subject
I can hop in if you really need the help. But I do prefer to stand back and play the part of moral support.
[But with what? He doesn't even have a weapon on him.
And he steps out of his car, shutting the door. He leans against the automobile, eying the tonberries.]
Careful. I hear those knives are sharp.
no subject
[Arcueid hops out of the car anyways, striding up to the tonberries confidently. She calls back to Ardyn.]
Where do they even get those knives???
no subject
At her question, he just gives an over-exaggerated shrug.]
From the kitchens?

[Arcueid, that's the point... In any case, one of the tonberries quickly makes their way towards her, ramping up into a charge with its knife...]
no subject
HIIII-YAH!!!
[Yes. Yes, she just threw the tonberry like a softball and it has landed... Somewhere far, far, far, away...]
1/2
New. Surprising, too. He doesn't think he's ever seen a tonberry thrown into
oblivionthe distance in such an enthusiastic manner.]no subject
Ardyn leans in even more against his vehicle, crossing his arms. He tilts his head, watching the sight.]
Forget about one?
[Because there were two tonberries, and the other is waddling right up to her, knife glinting in the moonlight.]

Well, it can't be helped! They weren't that difficult to deal with so if they do happen to bother someone else, they shouldn't have a problem.
[Not difficult for HER anyways]
no subject
Most people will die if faced by one of those. I hope you realize that.
no subject
And they're also quite light.
no subject
[Not quite how the saying goes, but it gets his point across.]
no subject
[Arc nods in agreement. She isn't human after all so chucking those tonberries in the air wouldn't mean much.]
But, as long as they're out of the way we can continue on.
