cʜᴀʟᴅᴇᴀ pʜᴀɴᴛᴀꜱᴍ 3 [OPEN POST]
![]() Okeanos has been conquered a long while ago and yet there is yet ANOTHER observed irregularity in the middle of the ocean. The waters are eerily calm, the sky is clear with only a few white clouds dotting the sky. There is no land in sight. What is there instead, but a titan of a cruise ship full of luxuries such as fully furnished bedrooms, an indoor waterpark, an equipped gym for exercise and sports, an industrial kitchen with a stocked cabinet of food supplies, a ballroom, a mini-golf course, bowling... And more! The Servants of Chaldea aren't slackers by any means, but a little more fun can't hurt, right? But maybe this time around, things won't be as straightforward as it seems... "Chaldea Phantasm" is an open sandbox RP post for players to roleplay in the setting based on the mobile game, Fate Grand Order and the Fate franchise. You can play out scenarios between Master and Servant(s), Servants fighting each other, monsters, material/event grinding, AUs, etc. This post will have actual prompts that can be used at your leisure! Otherwise, feel free to write up your own scenario. A) Waku Waku Splash! A certain child king has brought it upon himself to deck out the indoor swimming pool with his own personal touches so everyone can have an exciting and enjoyable experience. There's a current pool, a wave pool, a HUGE water slide, and even pools for diving and racing. You know what this means! Swimsuits! There are rules in place to keep the peace and one of them is of particular note. Archer (Gilgamesh - Adult) Archer (David) Saber (Gawain) Saber (Fergus mac Róic) Lancer (Fionn mac Cumhaill) Lancer (Cu Chulainn) Lancer (Leonidas) Berserker (Spartacus) Caster (Merlin) Caster (Mozart) Rider (Blackbeard) "Thank you and have a nice day. If you have questions for the management and want to protest your ban please talk to Heracles." Honestly, it really is up to you whether you take this ban list seriously or not... B) Fate/Grand Blue This is your more general SOL prompt. Have a walk around the beautiful cruise ship. Enjoy the blue sky! Maybe do some fishing. Raid the fridge or wait until the Kitchen Moms of Chaldea create a fantastic spread for everyone. Reenact that scene from the Titanic (except the boat sinking part). There's a karaoke machine in one of the lounges that might be fun to do! C) A Study in Ocean Blue A body has been found in the ballroom! The poor deceased man looks as if he was the captain of the ship. There may be several clues littered around the ballroom and into the captain's quarters that may lead to an answer! Or not? Make sure the body doesn't disappear and don't run into ghosts on the bottom floors of the ship if you try to solve this mystery! (For this prompt, feel free to write the mystery any way you want! Comedy option is that the body disappears, serious option, it was ghosts.) E) Fatal Battle!? The more keen-eyed and alert Servants may have noticed a presence that has marked this oceanic singularity as a threat and it comes in the form of a titanic Water Dragon. The cruise ship trembles as the beast approaches, angry that its territory has been invaded. Hopefully, our more skilled Riders will take the wheel and navigate around it safely, but it's up to you to subdue the dragon ➢ In the subject line or in your opening thread, please say if you're opting in or out for spoilers! ➢ If you have a fanmade Servant, please try to link to information or have a quick summary of your character! Likewise with cross-canon characters with a Fate/AU. ➢ Be kind and courteous to one another about spoilers, please! ➢ If stuff gets mildly NSFW or something just mark your threads and we'll be good to go! ➢ A high seas adventure...? |

But her attempt to go peacefully into the night is interrupted as she suddenly feels a horribly powerful jolt of lightning through her body.]
GAH! Why?!
[Her eyes shoot open, but she can hardly see a thing. She is more distracted by the jolts going through her body as she flails her arms. There are Servants with healing abilities, why aren't they here helping instead of this?! She swears if she comes to and this turns out to be Tesla, she is going to give the nerd a wedgie and toss him overboard.
It's not enough, though. Once the electricity is cut off, her eyes may be open and she may be alert, but she definitely feels like she is going to die now. Her mind is fried and racing and she can hardly keep herself together, so she is going to most definitely fade away at--
Oh.
Her vision clears just enough to catch sight of the culprit. Immediately, as though nothing at all had happened to begin with, Soleil sits up, wide awake and grinning.]
Omgigosh, Fran. That swimsuit is so cute on you.
[...Her hair is a poofy, frazzled, ungodly mess.]

Soleil's comment thankfully distracts Fran from dangerous thoughts before she can get too far along in them. She looks down at herself, as though she hadn't really looked at the swimsuit before.]
Ahh? [She'd picked it because it looked like it would be cool (temperature-wise) rather than thinking about whether it'd be cute or not. But she does like cute things, so it's kind of nice to know that she picked one that is cute as well. She looks back up at Soleil.]
Uhhn.
[The tone suggests that's some kind of thank you, but her expression is almost completely neutral. She kind of missed the "on you" part and has taken it as a compliment to the swimsuit.
Her expression is slightly less blank as she blinks at Soleil's hair.]
Uhhh? [Is Soleil okay? GEE I WONDER WHAT CAUSED THAT]
no subject
Uh...huh?
[She reaches up to touch her hair, only to be shocked with a small discharge at first. She pats around and realizes what she must look like. Her beautiful, thick locks are an embarrassing mess. She can't let her angel see her like this.
So, she leaps to her feet, holding a finger up to indicate she is going to be right back, and bolts to the pool. She leans over the edge and dunks her hair into the water. A moment later, she pulls her head out and waves her hair, looking like she should being in a shampoo commercial.
What she didn't see thanks to having her head in the water was the shocks she discharged in the water, frying the other people in the pool, so she is a little confused at the sight of steam and several Servants floating around with dizzy looks on their faces. She shrugs it off and returns to Fran.]
See, look! I'm at one hundred percent again, all thanks to you, my little flower.

Uungh. Uuh ungh.
[The tone, while not particularly enthusiastic, expresses that she thinks it is good that Soleil is feeling better, and she is glad to have helped. That look of mild confusion, though, doesn't abate. Sure, she knows about flirting and pet names. With some of the people in Chaldea, she can't miss seeing it in action even if she hadn't already observed it before Chaldea. Directed at her, however, is something she still hasn't quite figured out.
But flowers - now, flowers, she gets. In fact, despite how lethargic she's been in the heat, she did pass by a vase of flowers in one of the hallways earlier and couldn't resist taking a couple of them. And shoving them in her pocket, because okay, maybe she doesn't actually get flowers beyond knowing they're pretty. She digs in the pocket of her cardigan (which upon looking at the actual picture does not appear to have pockets but everything should have pockets dammit) and produces one of them.
It's in about as good of shape as you'd expect from being put in a pocket by a Berserker.]
Aaa? [A little flower?]
no subject
Maybe. Probably.]
Yeah, that's right. You and that flower are the same: small, cute, delicate.
[Yeah, delicate. A Servant, a Berserker, Frankenstein's Monster--that just screams 'delicate'. She puts her hands on her hips and nods.]
...And like that flower, you're kind of worse for wear. The sun is a little too much for you, huh?
[Fran laying around in the shade didn't go unnoticed.]
no subject
("You monster! You're disgusting!" her father - her creator - said. "You are nothing but a monster! A mad abomination!")
..............well, cute was a matter of opinion, probably. This one was a strange opinion, though. She looks back at the flower and then back up at Soleil. ...It's a nice thought, anyway.
At the mention of the sun, Fran visibly droops, her arms dropping, her shoulders slumping.]
Uuuuuwreeeeeee.... [She's clearly whining. Hooooooot....] Uuunngh, uuahh uhh uhh. Ahhh.
[She sometimes accompanies her groans with gestures to get her point across, and she's clearly trying to do so right now, but the movements of her hands are listless and small, as though she can't be bothered to move much for anything less important than, say, reviving someone with electricity. She certainly sounds like she's complaining, though. Why does anyone like this kind of weather? There's nothing good about the heat.]
