Premise Okeanos has been conquered a long while ago and yet there is yet ANOTHER observed irregularity in the middle of the ocean. The waters are eerily calm, the sky is clear with only a few white clouds dotting the sky. There is no land in sight. What is there instead, but a titan of a cruise ship full of luxuries such as fully furnished bedrooms, an indoor waterpark, an equipped gym for exercise and sports, an industrial kitchen with a stocked cabinet of food supplies, a ballroom, a mini-golf course, bowling... And more! The Servants of Chaldea aren't slackers by any means, but a little more fun can't hurt, right? But maybe this time around, things won't be as straightforward as it seems... "Chaldea Phantasm" is an open sandbox RP post for players to roleplay in the setting based on the mobile game, Fate Grand Order and the Fate franchise. You can play out scenarios between Master and Servant(s), Servants fighting each other, monsters, material/event grinding, AUs, etc. This post will have actual prompts that can be used at your leisure! Otherwise, feel free to write up your own scenario. A) Waku Waku Splash! A certain child king has brought it upon himself to deck out the indoor swimming pool with his own personal touches so everyone can have an exciting and enjoyable experience. There's a current pool, a wave pool, a HUGE water slide, and even pools for diving and racing. You know what this means! Swimsuits! There are rules in place to keep the peace and one of them is of particular note. "Troublemakers will be banned from Waku Waku if they are caught misbehaving, disturbing and/or be harassing our female guests. B) Fate/Grand Blue This is your more general SOL prompt. Have a walk around the beautiful cruise ship. Enjoy the blue sky! Maybe do some fishing. Raid the fridge or wait until the Kitchen Moms of Chaldea create a fantastic spread for everyone. Reenact that scene from the Titanic (except the boat sinking part). There's a karaoke machine in one of the lounges that might be fun to do! C) A Study in Ocean Blue SPECIAL EVENT A body has been found in the ballroom! The poor deceased man looks as if he was the captain of the ship. There may be several clues littered around the ballroom and into the captain's quarters that may lead to an answer! Or not? Make sure the body doesn't disappear and don't run into ghosts on the bottom floors of the ship if you try to solve this mystery! (For this prompt, feel free to write the mystery any way you want! Comedy option is that the body disappears, serious option, it was ghosts.) E) Fatal Battle!? Something sinister and monstrous this way comes. The more keen-eyed and alert Servants may have noticed a presence that has marked this oceanic singularity as a threat and it comes in the form of a titanic Water Dragon. The cruise ship trembles as the beast approaches, angry that its territory has been invaded. Hopefully, our more skilled Riders will take the wheel and navigate around it safely, but it's up to you to subdue the dragon and try not to get swallowed whole, there's a whole other level inside and maybe valuable mats and a Grail!?. [Caster has never been one to shirk away from fashion. Really, how boring would it be to wear the same thing always? Her usual black body suit has been reformed into a one piece suit with a plunging back and long sleeves. Her left hand remains exposed, however, and reveals the intricate gold inlaid into the mechanical arm. Tied around her waist is a sheer coverup. It's almost as if she wanted to make a dress out of a bathing suit...

Her black sunglasses obscure her eyes. Not much else can be ascertained as she strides aimlessly throughout the cruise ship. Catch her at the lounge picking up a drink that fortunately does little to affect her, or leaning on the railing watching the calm of the ocean.]

[ You've probably seen this Servant around once or twice - bright blue hair, refined clothing, and a holy aura to complement it all. Most people either call him Archer of Blue, or That Asshole. That smile of his isn't enough to conceal his propensity to get on people's nerves, unfortunately. ]

[ Servants don't need to eat, but they certainly can do it to enjoy themselves. That's not one of Ain's habits, however; when the Master tells him to eat something, he's torn between obeying (like a responsible Servant) and not doing something he sees no point in trying.

The Master has left the kitchen already, so he'll just be standing to one side and eyeing the food with a quiet, pensive air. ]

[It's hard to tell if d'Eon is talking to you or just musing. Still, they did say it loud enough to be heard over the sound of splashing and general fun shenanigans.

Or, you might find d'Eon already sitting by the pool, feet dipped in the water. What swimsuit does d'Eon have on under that dress? IT'S A MYSTERY.]

[You've seen d'Eon in a cute summer dress. Now here's d'Eon again, this time, in a somewhat frilly hoodie and short shorts. They're carrying a large tray of pastries and sweets from the kitchen.

Or when they're not on Marie-watching duty (which is not very often), they're on deck, leaning against the railing and just enjoying the view. Occasionally, with their sword at their side.]

This one is standing reading over the list, and then again, as if it might suddenly transform before his eyes and miraculously clear his name. When this doesn't happen after the first five times, he sighs dramatically, running a hand through his hair.]

Truly, I understand . . . I mustn't attempt it. There are so many beautiful Servants in there, wearing so little—tragedy would strike if we were to meet. Just as it always does, my beauty matched with those lovely women would bring misfortune upon this ship . . .

[Sanson would not be Sanson without those moments when he just gets away from everyone to sit or stand by himself. The peerless scenery of the sun and the sea is not lost on him, but even when he's brooding or being alone with his thoughts, he doesn't miss footsteps behind or beside him and when you're close by, he'll turn away from where he's gazing at the azure ocean and the clear blue sky.

A very brief moment of silence passes before:]

It's beautiful, isn't it? [He inclines his head toward the view.

One might also notice the small leather-bound journal clasped in one of his hands.]

C: ELEMENTARY, MY DEAR SANSON

Everyone, please step aside.

[Though his voice is gentle and somber as always, it somehow manages to cut through the hasty whispers and hubbub around the captain's corpse. Striding into the ballroom with his usual coat hastily thrown over his simple shirt and swim trunks (he could've just easily switched to his usual outfit with ~magic~ but whatever) and gloves on his hands, Sanson is all business.

The guy isn't decapitated so y'all can stop suspecting him. Anyway, Sanson drops down to half-kneel beside the body with absolutely no sign of revulsion or shock, as if this were all in a day's work.]

It looks like he was bludgeoned to death, judging from the blood and the wound at the back of his head. But we still need to find what was used to kill him.

[Is all that can be heard as Ishtar plummets to the pool at high speed. No matter who may be occupying the water she's coming in hot with a shark shaped floaty tucked under her legs like she's riding it.]

Here it comes! Prepare yourselves for the cannonball of a goddess!

[It's an impressive hit. The water is displaced in a way that results in a huge wave splashing those relaxing both in the pool and in the first couple rows of sunning chairs. Only those with pool umbrellas may be safe. In the end the pool is missing about half a foot of water (that now resides on the deck) and she's laughing like it's one big cosmic joke.]

2. Lend a Hand

Ara, you wouldn't deny a girl in need, would you?

[Said girl offers a bottle of lotion. So what if it's pointless? So what if a Servant's body can't really change? Who can pass up the exquisite experience of feeling someone's hands apply the slick lotion to your skin as you spread out along a pool chair meant for sunning yourself? It's something no one should pass up!]

Lend a goddess your aid, and I promise you will be blessed.

3. All that Glitters must Fade

[After being reprimanded for her actions in the first prompt, or being rejected in the second, Ishtar finds herself under a brightly colored umbrella with her knees tucked up to her chest. She pouts and glares at the happy pool goers. Her red eyes bore holes into whatever she looks at. If you happen to pass by and accidentally look her way she'll shoot you a glare.]

What are you looking at? Don't you know to avert your eyes from the shining glory of a goddess?

[Hmph! She pulls her pink hood over her head to pout more. If that's even possible. What a childish goddess.]

[Look...though this Soleil, thanks to all her passion, has manifested as a Berserker, even she retains enough sense to question what she has just heard. Then again, maybe she didn't hear anything at all as she was ogling an actual goddess...? But what she knows is there is lotion being held out to her and Ishtar said something and Soleil looks like she is about to explode.]

[Normally a Saber, basking in the glow of her namesake and surrounded by beauty has given her so much overwhelming excitement that it can only manifest as Madness Enhancement; her Noble Phantasm strengthens her in the the company of those she deems cute, so it should be no surprise this setting has had peculiar side effects on her. Competing in everything that could conceivably be made into a competition, attempting to impress her cute Master and the cutest Servants, shining as bright as a second sun--she the embodiment of PARTY HARD and has lost all sense of self restraint...so not much different than normal, really. She gets a new outfit.

She seems to be moments from overheating and passing out, though...]

[As much as she may fawn over the cuties of Chaldea, she is far from a slouch herself as she radiates the beauty of one who knows she looks good. Despite how bad it is to stare directly into the sun, Berserker is intent on getting as many people as possible to pay attention to her and her alone. ]

Berserker is here! Everyone, eyes on me! Look how cute and cool I am!

[And what follows is any number of attempts to impress someone cute: doing something ridiculous while playing a game (there is no need to wind up the club like that during mini-golf...), doing ridiculous tricks on a surfboard she has borrowed, diving into the pools from increasingly ridiculous heights, or just...flexing that perfect body.]

[This is it. She has gotten overwhelmed. Her always-active Noble Phantasm is no problem as a Saber, but as a Berserker is has become overly stimulated without a form of self control available to her to temper it. Every so often her most embarrassing skill--FAINTING (DOKI)--kicks in and she faceplants right where she is.]

[IDK something else. She is gorging herself on food whenever the various cute chefs whip something out, doing ridiculous things in all the pools, and generally making a fool of herself in an attempt to maximize her fun.]

[If nothing else then it's a good time to relax, maybe catch a few sun rays, fish off the edge of the boat... Robin can be found lazing his time away on a stool by the railing, generally keeping to himself with a fishing pole in his hand and a fruity drink on the table at his side.

Every once and awhile, something tugs at his line and- well, he's either not very good at the 'active' part of fishing or that's not really why he's out there, so he never quite manages to reel one in. Typical.]

C | Mystery

[Resident Hooded Figure who had nothing at all to do with anything, reporting in and peeking curiously through the crowd at the corpse outstretched and going pale on the floor. There's quite a bit of jostling, and he doesn't exactly want to elbow his way to the front so he peeks between shoulders when he can.

No visible signs of blood or brokenness, and to just collapse in the middle of the room like this...]

Was it poison?

[Hey, he's just curious and maybe an expert in that sort of thing but whatever. Everyone is too tall, and tbh he's just a lowly three star chilling out here in the back- not exactly the kind of guy who's going to demand attention from the whole room. He crouches down eventually to get a better look, peering past all the ankles of the folks in front of him.

Please don't step on the cape.]

[Just when she's walking past, wandering if she should check on the kitchen, she spots Robin fishing. Or, glamourously fishing, because check out that fruity drink. It's almost like he's just relaxing and "fishing".

Except, just at that very moment, his line is tugging! She immediately goes to the edge of the boat to see how he fares!]

[shuten is happily floating on an inflated chair in the water, one hand lazily dipped into the pool, while the other is delicately grasping her signature red cup of sake. she refused to use any of the glasses offered, and the liquors in the kitchen didn't seem to impress her. she will have to check in later to see if things change (because they do, all the time, especially here). her swimsuit is similar to her regular attire, though no kimono is nearby. she would never allow chlorine to touch it.

she seems at ease with everything now, but if anyone were to disturb her -- say, jumping into the pool -- she will not be pleased. no hunks have been spotted yet, but she is hoping a certain blond will show up at some point.]

Say, would you like a drink?

[she isn't speaking to anyone in particular, so really, the offer is up for grabs. she does love sharing her sake. the rumors about her are true, though, so be careful, servant and master alike, you may just fall under her spell. the sight of her can leave anyone under her mercy, especially when she's been drinking.]

Or perhaps you'd like to go and fetch me some food? Peaches would be lovely.

A RAID

[shuten can be found in the kitchen, searching every inch of it for what she wants. perhaps she needs to check the pantry, because there certainly isn't any alcohol peaking her interest in the refrigerator. she sighs, bare feet pattering along the tiles.]

so she finds the most expensive bottle in the pantry and steels it away all for herself. she can be found wandering down the halls of the ship, looking for entertainment, bottle in hand. no one had better tell her to put the bottle back.]

[There is, fortunately, one other person who's picky when it comes to wine. It doesn't take much to sniff Shuten Douji out for the smell of alcohol is always about her. He intercepts her at a corner, a lit pipe in his hand. Holmes leans against the wall, as casual as anything.]

[Gudako has a problem. It's common for Servants to see her around, but normally, all of her outfits and Mystic Codes tend to cover as much skin as possible. Which is because, well. After being a Master and doing so much to save the world, her body is kind of a mess of scars, burns, and so on. So she's a bit self-conscious, and keeping to her normal outfit, despite the sunny weather, and, well, the heat.

... She might be about to get heat stroke. Someone should probably come talk to her.]

[A: The Actually Fun Prompt]

[Once she's been encouraged to finally get in the pool, with some Casters helping heal over her scars, she's having a blast. She's in her da Vinci-made Mystic Code swimsuit, and generally running all over like an excited kid, trying to try all of the attractions. Someone should tell her there's no running in the pool!

Alternately, when she's tired herself out, she's got a pair of sunglasses, and is standing by the banned sign, trying to look imposing, and failing utterly. Still, she's going to (attempt to) enforce the list!]

[ Arturia isn't really one for showing off her skin, either. But she's succumbed to the spirit of the day and is wearing that bright white two-piece swimsuit of hers. A glance is all she needs to see Gudako isn't in the best spirits and she moves over to her master, ice cream in one hand (of course she has ice cream) and a cold bottle of water in the other. ]

[ this... is possibly the worst situation ever if you happen to be afraid of water. it's understandable, in her case— drowning and yet being unable to die by suffocation had been a bad experience she'd only had to have once when she was alive, but it does mean she's aggressively throwing herself into whatever she can to ignore thinking too hard about being surrounded by ocean.

that may be sunning herself a good few feet away from the poolside, showing off myriad scars in the process (and don't some of those look oddly like faded surgical seams, particularly around her joints...?) it may be (as usual) insinuating herself into the kitchen to steal whatever tidbits she can get away with! or it may be just popping up directly behind you to ask: ]

That left Jack with a problem. She could just dump it overboard but someone might see it floating. Then she remembered: there was someone else on this trip who also was infamous for killing women. Jack always wanted a chance to bond with her so she could further her own torture and killing techniques. She also liked blood so maybe this would be a good peace offering.

So, using presence concealment, Jack brought the body of the waitress to Carmilla's door and opened it. She thought she could sense a Servant in there. Brightly she reveals herself holding the dead body.]

He's introducing a new kind of current to the current pool as he drifts along in an inner tube--nothing actually harmful, but anyone in the water nearby might get a little jolt.

Don't worry, though, you'll definitely hear him before you see him.]

. . . just think of it--nothing less than an artificial river reproduced on the deck of a ship, its currents generated and controlled by electrical power! If this isn't a glory worthy of myth and legend, what is it? And yet it's wrought by the hands of mortal man! No god or sorcerer tamed these waters! Ha ha ha, I hope the divine spirits among our number see this and appreciate just how far behind us their era is!

B. Fate/Grand Blue

[As his time at the pool made abundantly clear, Tesla is stoked to be here. Everything about this trip is to his liking. Here they are on a seagoing vessel, and yet all the luxuries of life on land are effortlessly reproduced! So he's definitely also gonna spend a lot of time wandering the ship, checking out the electrical amenities. Maybe you find him getting in the way in the kitchen because he's admiring the big industrial refrigerators. Maybe you see him being even more in the way at the bowling alley, because man the machines that sweep the pins away are cool.

But ah, if there's one thing Nikola Tesla was known for loving almost as much as he loved electricity, it's gambling. The second he finds the game room with the billiards tables, he's a fixture there, inviting anyone who happens to come by to join him for a game.]

He hasn't even bothered to wear a swimsuit, but he's barefoot with his pants rolled up to his knees. Very tame, very appropriate. See? He hasn't done a single wrong thing in his entire life, whyever would he be banned from any establishment???

Acquaintances, he'll gladly take. Friends - or rather, those few who can tolerate all of his eccentricities without judgement - he's more than happy to hoard. But lovers? Ew.

Which is why it's extremely unusual to see him walk aboard the ship, arm in arm with a young woman. There's not much warmth to his introductions. Yes, this is his "friend." Yes, he invited her to this cruise.

Eventually, the strange pair wind up in a relatively empty dining room, whereupon Sherlock turns to his apparent beau and says:]
