Premise Okeanos has been conquered a long while ago and yet there is yet ANOTHER observed irregularity in the middle of the ocean. The waters are eerily calm, the sky is clear with only a few white clouds dotting the sky. There is no land in sight. What is there instead, but a titan of a cruise ship full of luxuries such as fully furnished bedrooms, an indoor waterpark, an equipped gym for exercise and sports, an industrial kitchen with a stocked cabinet of food supplies, a ballroom, a mini-golf course, bowling... And more! The Servants of Chaldea aren't slackers by any means, but a little more fun can't hurt, right? But maybe this time around, things won't be as straightforward as it seems... "Chaldea Phantasm" is an open sandbox RP post for players to roleplay in the setting based on the mobile game, Fate Grand Order and the Fate franchise. You can play out scenarios between Master and Servant(s), Servants fighting each other, monsters, material/event grinding, AUs, etc. This post will have actual prompts that can be used at your leisure! Otherwise, feel free to write up your own scenario. A) Waku Waku Splash! A certain child king has brought it upon himself to deck out the indoor swimming pool with his own personal touches so everyone can have an exciting and enjoyable experience. There's a current pool, a wave pool, a HUGE water slide, and even pools for diving and racing. You know what this means! Swimsuits! There are rules in place to keep the peace and one of them is of particular note. "Troublemakers will be banned from Waku Waku if they are caught misbehaving, disturbing and/or be harassing our female guests. The following guests have been banned:" Archer (Gilgamesh - Adult) Archer (David) Saber (Gawain) Saber (Fergus mac Róic) Lancer (Fionn mac Cumhaill) Lancer (Cu Chulainn) Lancer (Leonidas) Berserker (Spartacus) Caster (Merlin) Caster (Mozart) Rider (Blackbeard) "Thank you and have a nice day. If you have questions for the management and want to protest your ban please talk to Heracles." Honestly, it really is up to you whether you take this ban list seriously or not... B) Fate/Grand Blue This is your more general SOL prompt. Have a walk around the beautiful cruise ship. Enjoy the blue sky! Maybe do some fishing. Raid the fridge or wait until the Kitchen Moms of Chaldea create a fantastic spread for everyone. Reenact that scene from the Titanic (except the boat sinking part). There's a karaoke machine in one of the lounges that might be fun to do! C) A Study in Ocean Blue SPECIAL EVENT A body has been found in the ballroom! The poor deceased man looks as if he was the captain of the ship. There may be several clues littered around the ballroom and into the captain's quarters that may lead to an answer! Or not? Make sure the body doesn't disappear and don't run into ghosts on the bottom floors of the ship if you try to solve this mystery! (For this prompt, feel free to write the mystery any way you want! Comedy option is that the body disappears, serious option, it was ghosts.) E) Fatal Battle!? Something sinister and monstrous this way comes. The more keen-eyed and alert Servants may have noticed a presence that has marked this oceanic singularity as a threat and it comes in the form of a titanic Water Dragon. The cruise ship trembles as the beast approaches, angry that its territory has been invaded. Hopefully, our more skilled Riders will take the wheel and navigate around it safely, but it's up to you to subdue the dragon and try not to get swallowed whole, there's a whole other level inside and maybe valuable mats and a Grail!?. [ well since you're not wearing a swimsuit now you kinda stand out Mozart. Ritsuka strolls by with his giant penguin floaty, clearly noticing who you are.

but rather than call Mozart out immediately, he kinda just stops and looks at the ukelele and then at Mozart with expectant eyes ]

[ A PENGUIN FLOATY... how cute. This is why Mozart is endeared to you, Ritsuka!!!!

Completely unfazed by the fact that he shouldn't be here, the musician waves at his Master and strums an upbeat melody on his little ukulele. "Somewhere Over the Rainbow", which he learned by borrowing Andersen's tablet.

All smiles, he gestures for Ritsuka to come closer— won't you have a little fun with him??? ]

[ we can ride the floaty together later! it's big enough... probably.

lured in by the music, Ritsuka returns the wave and smiles as he trots over to Mozart ] I didn't know you knew that song. It's from Wizard of Oz, right?

[nozart]

[ Ah, he's not being yelled at, which means that he can just play it casual for the rest of his time here. Ritsuka's word is law, after all.

Long fingers keep on playing the soft tune, even as Mozart converses. As a musical genius, multitasking comes easily to him. ]

I picked up a thing or two from the resources in Chaldea. I wouldn't know about where the tune originates from, though!

[ Predictably, he's more committed to music than film. ]

[ you're fine until you harass someone, Mozart. then you get whacked by Pengu-chan the Penguin. ]

I don't really know much about the movie either, I think I only saw it once long ago. Something about magical red shoes and flying monkeys? It's still a really nice song. [ his voice is a little more quiet than usual, wanting to enjoy Mozart's performance as much as possible ]

Red shoes and flying mammals? If you're so keen on fantasy, you should have come to one of my operas.

[ "The Magic Flute" would have been a good one for Ritsuka, he thinks. A story about virtue triumphing over injustice and inequity— it reminds him of a certain bright-eyed young Master, at any rate.

He smiles, scoots over to a nearby beach chair, and sits down. Pats the space next to him for a brief half-second, before continuing the song to its conclusion. ]

—There. No need to clap, please, your expression says it all.

[ Mozart's operas... Ritsuka doesn't know much about operas, but even he's heard of some of them ]

Umm, your opera like... the one with Figaro? And... the Queen of the Night? [ Ritsuka makes a mental note to look at Mozart's operas sometime soon. he feels a little bad he doesn't know more about his Servants.

he takes a seat next to Mozart, setting the penguin floaty down on the ground next to him] Thanks. [ and, as Mozart said, instead of clapping Ritsuka gives the musician a beaming smile ] Is there an instrument you can't play?

[nozart]

Those would be the ones. If you ever want to hear them, tap me on the shoulder— I'm always ready for a fun little orchestra.

[ A laugh, and he draws a circle in the air with his index finger. For a brief half-second, Mozart's orchestral familiars appear around them in a flutter of wings and polished instruments; a waste of mana, certainly, but who's keeping track?

Still, Mozart will be responsible. Another flourish, and everything disappears except for the musician and his Cheshire-cat smile. ]

As for me, of course not! I'm a genius, after all. In the same way that a Rider can ride machines and contraptions way beyond their time, there's not an instrument on earth that I can't play. [ A chuckle. ] —But, I'd prefer not to play the trumpet. It sounds too much like someone grunting on the toilet, to be honest.

[ the bathroom humor........... ]

Really? Can I invite Mash too? I'm sure she'll enjoy it too. [ maybe Marie too, but that would probably mean Sanson would end up there as well and... well... yeah.

if they were low on energy or in a tense situation, Ritsuka might have said something. but this was a nice, vacation cruise so he instead just enjoys the small display of magic. they were always so fascinating ]

Toilet... I don't think your orchestra's trumpeter would be too happy hearing that. [ there's laughter in Ritsuka's tone though ] Besides, I'm sure you'll be able to make it sound nicer than a grunt.

Of course! The more the merrier.

[ Mash is Mozart's weakness, after all. Not to mention that it's a little bit endearing, watching these two young people gravitate around each other.

The thought softens him for a split second, and tempers his expression into something gentle. As petty as Mozart likes to be, he has his moments. ]

But, hmm. You're buttering me up quite a bit, today. [ Not that he's complaining, but. You know. ] My music's always been amazing, but how good of a mood are you in that you're not needling me about my bad habits?

Thanks, I'll be sure to take up on your invitation one day then!

[ Ritsuka's makes a joking pout ] You don't have to sound so suspicious of the compliments. [ it quickly turns back into a smile ] But I guess I'm in a good mood. It's not everyday you get to go on a ship like this! Besides... you're not doing your bad habits right now, are you? [ when it came to people who gave Ritsuka a headache sometimes, Mozart doesn't even rank too high up there ]

[ That's largely true: when it comes to bad habits, Mozart usually indulges in them where Ritsuka can't see. Still, he was on the banned list (still is, actually), so he has to laugh at his Master's lenience. ]

I can't argue with that! [ Listen, if he's not going to be scolded, he'll take it. A warm chuckle, and he gestures to the water slides and tidal pools around them. ] We all need a break from saving the world now and then, hmm? Life catches up with us quickly, so we should enjoy ourselves to the fullest while we can.

Now, Master. What kind of stupid stunt do you want to indulge in today?

[ Ritsuka loves all his Servants, banned or not. they're all kinda like... difficult family members ]

No need to worry about surviving on an abandoned island or getting caught up in some race-slash-prison break! It's a nice, actual vacation. I appreciate it a lot. [ hopefully he didn't just jinx them all by saying that ]

I don't plan to do anything stupid! I swear, this time I'm just going to relax and float by! [ except maybe striking a deal with Ishtar later on and pranking on Gilgamesh and also maybe sleeping next to a corpse that will apparently pop up later ]

[ Mozart can be Ritsuka's fun artist cousin who comes to Thanksgiving Totally Drunk and talks about sticking his head into the turkey the entire time. Which is to say: uninvite Mozart to everything.

That said, Mozart looks. Extremely Dubious.

And then bursts into laughter— how rude of him. ]

[ let's be real, Emiya the mom would be the one doing the banning but Ritsuka would mass text everyone the next family dinner date and Mozart will just invite himself again ]

Hey! [ Ritsuka pouts in a more exaggerated fashion this time ] It's not like I'm a trouble magnet! I don't think anyone's dumb enough to do anything too crazy on Kogil's pool anyway. [ boomerang ]

[ RITSUKA PLEASE LOVE YOURSELF...

For his Master's pout, Mozart only has a wide-set grin to spare. ]

I hate to break it to you, but you're the biggest trouble magnet I've ever seen. You might not be dumb enough, but look at all the Servants you've attracted.

[ Troublemakers, the lot of them. Mozart gestures towards a cluster a few yards away, all trying to kill each other with Super Soakers. ]

... ... [ oh was that Mephisto planting a water bomb and soaking them all? how is he not banned??? ] M-Most of the Servants aren't trouble... [ see that quivering voice? yeah not even Ritsuka believes that. they've all caused some sort of ruckus at one point ]

Well, I'm we can go one day without anything too out of ordinary happening... [ now he's losing confidence too ]
