Premise Okeanos has been conquered a long while ago and yet there is yet ANOTHER observed irregularity in the middle of the ocean. The waters are eerily calm, the sky is clear with only a few white clouds dotting the sky. There is no land in sight. What is there instead, but a titan of a cruise ship full of luxuries such as fully furnished bedrooms, an indoor waterpark, an equipped gym for exercise and sports, an industrial kitchen with a stocked cabinet of food supplies, a ballroom, a mini-golf course, bowling... And more! The Servants of Chaldea aren't slackers by any means, but a little more fun can't hurt, right? But maybe this time around, things won't be as straightforward as it seems... "Chaldea Phantasm" is an open sandbox RP post for players to roleplay in the setting based on the mobile game, Fate Grand Order and the Fate franchise. You can play out scenarios between Master and Servant(s), Servants fighting each other, monsters, material/event grinding, AUs, etc. This post will have actual prompts that can be used at your leisure! Otherwise, feel free to write up your own scenario. A) Waku Waku Splash! A certain child king has brought it upon himself to deck out the indoor swimming pool with his own personal touches so everyone can have an exciting and enjoyable experience. There's a current pool, a wave pool, a HUGE water slide, and even pools for diving and racing. You know what this means! Swimsuits! There are rules in place to keep the peace and one of them is of particular note. "Troublemakers will be banned from Waku Waku if they are caught misbehaving, disturbing and/or be harassing our female guests. The following guests have been banned:" Archer (Gilgamesh - Adult) Archer (David) Saber (Gawain) Saber (Fergus mac Róic) Lancer (Fionn mac Cumhaill) Lancer (Cu Chulainn) Lancer (Leonidas) Berserker (Spartacus) Caster (Merlin) Caster (Mozart) Rider (Blackbeard) "Thank you and have a nice day. B) Fate/Grand Blue This is your more general SOL prompt. Have a walk around the beautiful cruise ship. Enjoy the blue sky! Maybe do some fishing. Raid the fridge or wait until the Kitchen Moms of Chaldea create a fantastic spread for everyone. Reenact that scene from the Titanic (except the boat sinking part). There's a karaoke machine in one of the lounges that might be fun to do! C) A Study in Ocean Blue SPECIAL EVENT A body has been found in the ballroom! The poor deceased man looks as if he was the captain of the ship. There may be several clues littered around the ballroom and into the captain's quarters that may lead to an answer! Or not? Make sure the body doesn't disappear and don't run into ghosts on the bottom floors of the ship if you try to solve this mystery! (For this prompt, feel free to write the mystery any way you want! Comedy option is that the body disappears, serious option, it was ghosts.) E) Fatal Battle!? Something sinister and monstrous this way comes. The more keen-eyed and alert Servants may have noticed a presence that has marked this oceanic singularity as a threat and it comes in the form of a titanic Water Dragon. The cruise ship trembles as the beast approaches, angry that its territory has been invaded. Hopefully, our more skilled Riders will take the wheel and navigate around it safely, but it's up to you to subdue the dragon and try not to get swallowed whole, there's a whole other level inside and maybe valuable mats and a Grail!?. [Rin no longer lays claim to it. However it is also true that the Ishtar here is different than the Ishtar she used to be. They are mixed now. Like milk and tea. Unable to distinguish one from the other. Together they are a "New Ishtar". She claims it's a 70/30 mix with the divine presence holding more clout, but who knows how reliable that statement is?]

[ Arturia eyes Ishtar for a long moment. ]

Yes, I knew her [ Intimately. ] well. Tohsaka Rin, a magi from the modern era.

When I was called forth I required a physical form. Her soul was the closest in resonance to mine that was connected with to the grail, so we came together as one being. She and I are now the new "Ishtar".

[The divine servant allows that pink hood to fall from her head as she reveals herself a little more completely.]

[ An understatement from an understated king. What does this mean for Rin? And there's that familiar face, though different--bright red eyes that Rin never possessed in the time that Arturia knew her. ]

...So there is no more Tohsaka Rin? Will she ever have use of her body back?

As far as I am aware? No. We are a completely new being now. I am neither Rin nor the "old" Ishtar. There is no separating us now that we've joined.

[At least she doesn't think there is. She's a god, but she isn't omnipotent or omniscient. ]

[ That hurts a little more than Arturia expected or wants to let on. At least Archer and Shirou were the same person, just at a different place in their lives. If it had been Shirou merged with someone else, their identity suborned she would feel the same. ]

Ara? The soft spoken Saber has attachments? If that's the case I could play the part for you. You strike such a noble and gallant figure, how could I refuse?

[Ishtar is obviously teasing, but there's actually some seriousness behind it. The pink hoodie and white swimsuit give way to something more Rin-like. A red bikini — striking, yet simple. Slowly she reaches out to drag the bag of her hand gently along Arturia's cheek.]

[ Arturia's brow furrows at Ishtar's words and then she actually flinches a little, cheek jerking away from Ishtar's touch. She reaches up to catch Ishtar by the wrist, holding the other Servant's hand away from her. It was all wrong. The body is Rin's but behind the eyes it's not her Rin anymore than Archer is her Shirou. ]

I don't want you to playact for me, Ishtar.

[ A sharp voice. She releases Ishtar and glances away. Saber's shoulders tense and then slowly relax before she finds it in herself to look back at the other servant. ]

Very well, but do not say I did not try to offer you some comfort. It would be a shame to make enemies with those that bring up a sense of nostalgia.

[Because sure enough, Saber does. And every time she sees that Nameless Hero, Archer Emiya, Ishtar has the compulsion to follow him around and scold him. Annoying quirks, but she can't say she hates them entirely. This girl has gifted her with the ability to serve Master after all.]

[ Saber is quiet for a long moment. She feels awkwardly out of place all of a sudden in her swimsuit beneath a shining sun. She finds that she misses the feel of tatami and the quiet sounds of Shirou in the kitchen. Rin talking about the latest spellwork she's working on. Nostalgia, the pain of homecoming. ]

You're right. It's not fair for me to be angry with you--it's not as if it was your choice or design. I do miss her, though.

[ Maybe she'll find Archer and needle him for old time's sake. ]

Does it hurt? To see her face?

[Ishtar is genuinely curious, and means no ill will. She may be capricious, but she isn't evil. Just a spoiled brat who always wanted to indulge in her whims.]

[ What a question to be asked. Saber frowns, quiet for a long, long moment. Long enough that Ishtar might think she's offended Saber in some way. ]

It is as if I am seeing her through glass that I know I can't reach through. So yes, a little.

Perhaps a human would apologize for causing you to make such a face, but I can't say that I will. To see such an exquisite expression on your noble visage is too much. Chin up though, Saber. I'm sure this girl would have much liked to see your smile much more.

[Ishtar smiles. Not something big, or reassuring. Just a middle ground, positive look.]

Ah. To feel it is not what I would call exquisite, Archer. But I'm glad it pleases you.

[ Saber actually does smile a little. She takes a step forward and fingers reach out to brush Ishtar's hair before she pulls herself back. ]

Nostalgia can be such a painful thing.

Do not feel sorrow! You should want to congratulate her on her new existence. "We" are one now, an while she may not have been able to override the powerful personality of a goddess, she plays no small part in this life.

[As Arturia withdraws her hand Ishtar catches it, and kisses the inside of her wrist. A chaste area to be frank, but more intimate than a knightly peck to the back of the hand.]

I compliment her, then. She was always proud of her abilities and I think she would feel some pride now...

[ The motion from Ishtar catches her by surprise and Saber freezes for a moment just as warm lips press to the inside of her wrist. Her cheeks immediately bloom a bright pink. ]

Ah, my lady...

[ She stands there, letting Ishtar hold her hand, not sure whether to move forward to continue her retreat. Oh hesitation is the doom of kings, truly. ]

...You've stilled some of the unease in my heart.

Have I? That's good to hear. I'm not one for comforting people, but I told no lie when I said it would be a shame to be at odds with the people she was allied with.

[With a pleasant smile Ishtar returns Arturia's hand.]

[ As Ishtar releases her hand, Saber catches Ishtar's in turn. She bends forward a little and presses a chaste, knightly kiss to the back of Ishtar's hand. ]

Perhaps we can spend more time together. I would like to know the Ishtar that has some of my Tohsaka Rin within her.

[Ah. Ishtar has to avert her eyes as her cheeks turn a little pink.]

I would not be opposed to that. As a king is a voice to their people, and a goddess is to watch over humanity, we should definitely be in contact. Out of principle, of course.

Yes, you were born in an era where humans had forgotten their gods. But that's quite all right. It's something I don't begrudge. Especially since you're a more respectful than the king I've previously known.

[And then she does something Arturia might find familiar. She pushes a few locks of hair over her shoulder.]

[ Arturia can't help but smile. That gesture is so familiar, so automatic... ]

Yes. The king of Uruk who always dressed himself in gold. At first he caught my eye, but when we finally met in person I found out he was nothing but shining garbage.
