Premise Okeanos has been conquered a long while ago and yet there is yet ANOTHER observed irregularity in the middle of the ocean. The waters are eerily calm, the sky is clear with only a few white clouds dotting the sky. There is no land in sight. What is there instead, but a titan of a cruise ship full of luxuries such as fully furnished bedrooms, an indoor waterpark, an equipped gym for exercise and sports, an industrial kitchen with a stocked cabinet of food supplies, a ballroom, a mini-golf course, bowling... And more! The Servants of Chaldea aren't slackers by any means, but a little more fun can't hurt, right? But maybe this time around, things won't be as straightforward as it seems... "Chaldea Phantasm" is an open sandbox RP post for players to roleplay in the setting based on the mobile game, Fate Grand Order and the Fate franchise. You can play out scenarios between Master and Servant(s), Servants fighting each other, monsters, material/event grinding, AUs, etc. This post will have actual prompts that can be used at your leisure! Otherwise, feel free to write up your own scenario. A) Waku Waku Splash! A certain child king has brought it upon himself to deck out the indoor swimming pool with his own personal touches so everyone can have an exciting and enjoyable experience. There's a current pool, a wave pool, a HUGE water slide, and even pools for diving and racing. You know what this means! Swimsuits! There are rules in place to keep the peace and one of them is of particular note. "Troublemakers will be banned from Waku Waku if they are caught misbehaving, disturbing and/or be harassing our female guests. B) Fate/Grand Blue This is your more general SOL prompt. Have a walk around the beautiful cruise ship. Enjoy the blue sky! Maybe do some fishing. Raid the fridge or wait until the Kitchen Moms of Chaldea create a fantastic spread for everyone. Reenact that scene from the Titanic (except the boat sinking part). There's a karaoke machine in one of the lounges that might be fun to do! C) A Study in Ocean Blue SPECIAL EVENT A body has been found in the ballroom! The poor deceased man looks as if he was the captain of the ship. There may be several clues littered around the ballroom and into the captain's quarters that may lead to an answer! Or not? Make sure the body doesn't disappear and don't run into ghosts on the bottom floors of the ship if you try to solve this mystery! (For this prompt, feel free to write the mystery any way you want! Comedy option is that the body disappears, serious option, it was ghosts.) E) Fatal Battle!? Something sinister and monstrous this way comes. The more keen-eyed and alert Servants may have noticed a presence that has marked this oceanic singularity as a threat and it comes in the form of a titanic Water Dragon. The cruise ship trembles as the beast approaches, angry that its territory has been invaded. Hopefully, our more skilled Riders will take the wheel and navigate around it safely, but it's up to you to subdue the dragon and try not to get swallowed whole, there's a whole other level inside and maybe valuable mats and a Grail!?. [She doesn't want his apologies now. Not as she's harnessing all this pent up rage to fuel her Noble Phantasm. Ishtar flies high up into the air gathering the mana to summon the power of Venus. It'll be a while, and even then she'll have to wait for the servants to get it in position.

She better not lose her nerve, and this body with its accident prone past better not mess her up!

The water dragon slams yet again into the ship rocking all who stand on its deck.]

[ Yan Qing is thrown off his feet and nearly sent flying off the ship until he grabs onto the railings. His duty isn't here, and the others are telling him to go back inside where it's safe, but— ]

I was wrong!

[ This isn't like him. This is stupid. This is crazy. But somehow it's easier to blame the voices inside his head than his stupid, unpredictable self for anything that happens next. ... No. He's doing this now because he knows it's the right choice.

Even if Ishtar is trying to concentrate on killing a giant water dragon. No big deal! ]

I broke our promise and said all those things without thinking! I had no honor, so you have every right to hate me!

[Oh fuck.

Oh no.

He made her lose concentration. She let her power go with her boat/bow half cocked and her power only partially gathered. Still, a bad mistake. A terrible outcome. Horrid aim.

She 'nicks' the boat blasting her power on its side destroying a good part of the deck and railing. At least the beam of power just 'skimmed' the ship and the blow doesn't threaten their ability to float.

It's still BAD though.]

[Ishtar SCREAMS.]

Look at what you did! Look at what you made me do! You kept talking to me even when I told you to shut up! This is your fault!

[Everyone looks up at her like she's fucking nuts. Some of the servants are already calling her names and yelling at her.

Inside she dies a little.





Okay maybe inside she dies a lot. Can she just have a redo button please? The harsh words only stop when the water beast raises its ugly mug out of the ocean to roar at those aboard. There's a chunk of it missing from its dorsal fin running diagonally towards the corner of its mouth. At least... she hit something that wasn't the ship too.]

[ Uh, shit. That really was his fault. The other servants are yelling at him too, telling him to "shut up and generate stars, you useless Assassin!" ]

Jeez. The Alters are so rude... Do they have a grudge or something?

[ —Never mind them. He has to focus on the problem right now. The water dragon threatens Chaldea, which means it poses a danger to his Master, and... ]

Don't cry! We can still fix this!

[ The dragon roars, as if taunting them. A challenge, huh? Yan Qing smirks. With newfound strength, he pulls himself back onto the deck, careful not to slip. ]

I'll distract it and get it into position. When I give the signal, fire your shot. Don't think about anything else! You can do it!

[ As his palm begins to glow, he starts running. This might be the last time he'll be seeing her, but the least he can do is go out in a blaze of glory... Or something. This is cool enough to be remembered by, right?! ]

[And so she rises into the air. Lifting high once more to charge her her power.]

[ Cute... ]

Haha, alright. I'll take all the divine punishment I deserve. But just so you know, I don't die that easily!

[ Disoriented, the dragon thrashes around before attempting to ram the ship again. Each time it comes close, Yan Qing pushes it back with a punch or kick just as packed with power, but he's no savior of France. The dragon is wearing him down, and he can only keep this up for so long. If only that swordsman were here... ]

Ishtar! I'll make an opening for you with my Noble Phantasm. You know what to do!

[ At the jagged edge of the deck, he runs and launches himself off the ship. The dragon's teeth are dangerously close, but before Yan Qing leaps into the mouth of the beast, he strikes it with the mana stored in his palm and sends the dragon back, exposing its underside. ]

Now!

[It's not enough time to send off a full-powered blow, but it is just enough time to aim a half-powered shot at just the right spot. Ishtar uses her shot to pierce through the underside of its jaw and fry its brain to a crisp. The force of the hit knocks off the golden armor it had resting against its face.

It's dead. Its lumbering body crashes limply into the ocean as some of the servants lament not being able to cook it.

Instead of descending to the boat to try and boast about the victory, Ishtar zooms her Heavenly Boat of Maanna over to Yan Qing to make sure he makes it back to the deck safe and sound.]

So, what was that about taking divine punishment?

[Honestly, he expected to swim back to a rescue boat or a desert island or something... That would have been fine. He didn't expect the whimsical benevolence of a goddess, so forgive him if he looks more than a little surprised.]

That I'll take all that I deserve? [Is he going to die anyway...]

[Perhaps a benevolent goddess would invite him up on her boat.

She just picks him up by the back collar of his shirt like a mother cat would scruff her kitten. Ishtar hauls him up into the air and begins hauling him back.]

You better keep your word after what you did.

[shinssin]

[Cruel... This is just cruel... But at least he's a beautiful street cat...]

Hey, hey. Even an outlaw has his pride, right? Scoundrel's honor! [that's not how it goes]

I thought there was no honor among thieves... or does that just apply to the Bird Man?

[SHE MEANS ROBIN HOOD, but... no. He's Bird Man now. Ishtar at least is a little gentle when she sets him on the deck of the boat.

But she does so right next to the small crater she made in it to remind him he fucked up.]

[ Incredulous laughter... partly because he's being compared to Robin, but mostly because DID SHE REALLY HAVE TO PUT HIM HERE!!! ]

I really wish you wouldn't lump me together with a guy who hugs trees all day. I still have some dignity. Seriously!

Do you really look down on him so? I don't find him that contemptible. He's fun.

You're also in trouble. Naughty assassin, are you prepared for your punishment? I haven't thought of a good way for you to repent, but I have a couple ideas.

Don't worry, goddess. Whatever you do with me, I'll make sure you'll have loooots of fun tonight.

[ With that, he nibbles her ear. It's a promise(!?). ]
