Premise Okeanos has been conquered a long while ago and yet there is yet ANOTHER observed irregularity in the middle of the ocean. The waters are eerily calm, the sky is clear with only a few white clouds dotting the sky. There is no land in sight. What is there instead, but a titan of a cruise ship full of luxuries such as fully furnished bedrooms, an indoor waterpark, an equipped gym for exercise and sports, an industrial kitchen with a stocked cabinet of food supplies, a ballroom, a mini-golf course, bowling... And more! The Servants of Chaldea aren't slackers by any means, but a little more fun can't hurt, right? But maybe this time around, things won't be as straightforward as it seems... "Chaldea Phantasm" is an open sandbox RP post for players to roleplay in the setting based on the mobile game, Fate Grand Order and the Fate franchise. You can play out scenarios between Master and Servant(s), Servants fighting each other, monsters, material/event grinding, AUs, etc. This post will have actual prompts that can be used at your leisure! Otherwise, feel free to write up your own scenario. A) Waku Waku Splash! A certain child king has brought it upon himself to deck out the indoor swimming pool with his own personal touches so everyone can have an exciting and enjoyable experience. There's a current pool, a wave pool, a HUGE water slide, and even pools for diving and racing. You know what this means! Swimsuits! There are rules in place to keep the peace and one of them is of particular note. "Troublemakers will be banned from Waku Waku if they are caught misbehaving, disturbing and/or be harassing our female guests. B) Fate/Grand Blue This is your more general SOL prompt. Have a walk around the beautiful cruise ship. Enjoy the blue sky! Maybe do some fishing. Raid the fridge or wait until the Kitchen Moms of Chaldea create a fantastic spread for everyone. Reenact that scene from the Titanic (except the boat sinking part). There's a karaoke machine in one of the lounges that might be fun to do! C) A Study in Ocean Blue SPECIAL EVENT A body has been found in the ballroom! The poor deceased man looks as if he was the captain of the ship. There may be several clues littered around the ballroom and into the captain's quarters that may lead to an answer! Or not? Make sure the body doesn't disappear and don't run into ghosts on the bottom floors of the ship if you try to solve this mystery! (For this prompt, feel free to write the mystery any way you want! Comedy option is that the body disappears, serious option, it was ghosts.) E) Fatal Battle!? Something sinister and monstrous this way comes. The more keen-eyed and alert Servants may have noticed a presence that has marked this oceanic singularity as a threat and it comes in the form of a titanic Water Dragon. The cruise ship trembles as the beast approaches, angry that its territory has been invaded. Hopefully, our more skilled Riders will take the wheel and navigate around it safely, but it's up to you to subdue the dragon and try not to get swallowed whole, there's a whole other level inside and maybe valuable mats and a Grail!?. [Stunning... what a lavish room. Like the high ceiling halls or the atrium in her temples. Ishtar takes a moment to drink in the modern luxury. All of it "classic" but still very new to her. The Grail gives you enough information to function and understand modern achievements, but experiencing them first hand is —

Yan Qing's voice catches her attention. His new outfit has her eyes roaming around his body even more than his pool attire.]

If you insist.

[Ishtar's pink hoodie and pure white swimsuit are gone in a small burst of light. What remains is a blood red dress that covers more of her than what she typically tends to wear.]

[ He nearly whistles, but he's not so boorish that he'd forget where he is. The goal is to give her a good time. While he'd fool around and irritate others with his foul mouth off-duty, it's not as if he doesn't know what to say. ]

Oh, great choice! You're pulling out all the stops today, aincha? I'm flattered.

[ And he does mean it, since he makes a last-minute effort to tweak his colors to match. ]

[Him changing to match her gets Ishtar to quirk a smile. She lowers her flying level so he can have a little height on her. Look! She's giving him a courtesy. He should appreciate it! Though she mostly does it so that it's more obvious when she reaches to his face to thread her fingers through the locks of hair that frame his face.]

If you keep this up I might just have to reward you at the end.

[STOP!!! HE IS WEAK TO PRAISE!!!!]

[Good thing Yan Qing's an actor. Now that he knows just what to expect, he doesn't even visibly flinch.

He only pauses.]

Haha, I hope I disappoint. Do you dance?

[ninanna]

The only dance I know is the Dance of Inanna. Also known as the chaotic dance of the battlefield. So no, I do not.

[But she can do something to make it easier on both of them. Ishtar delicately descends until the balls of her feet rest gently on the tops of his. He won't feel any weight or pressure since she continues to float, but with her like that he'll notice that if she were to actually stand on the floor he's got about 12cm (4 inches) of height on her.]

[He was going to say something stupid like oh, me too! and completely ruin the moment as indelicate ruffians are wont to do, but Ishtar rests on his feet and it takes him a moment to register the distance between them. Not even Li Shishi ever got this close. Ishtar descends, and it's the first time he sees
her as someone worth more than a half-hearted effort.

Presevere. If he lets his guard down now, there's no telling what his body might do.

... By which I mean he might want to kill her out of fear of losing himself to a goddess, but the other implication is completely possible too.]

You're just in luck. I happen to be an incredible dancer!

[And he has memories from when he disguised himself as Marie, but Ishtar doesn't need to know that. He takes her waist with one hand, her own hand in the other, and sweeps onto the dance floor.]

[The goddess laughs brightly as he brings them towards the center. Her hair follows suit flowing just like the skirt of her dress — though it hangs in the air as if gravity dares not touch it. One of Ishtar's small hands rests on Yan Qing's waist while the other settles itself on his shoulder.

She doesn't care if he's acting. She doesn't care if his skill comes from someone else's memories. Why should she? If Ishtar's benefiting from it, why question it? She stays light and easy for him to move. If not for her unsettling red eyes she'd probably look incredibly fragile.]

Go ahead! Show me your best!

[ They do a waltz along to the rhythm, flowing hair and fluid steps all around the room. He wasn't lying when he said he was good. Memories blur — he sees the Versailles, he sees Shinjuku — yet he never takes his eyes off her. If asked, he would say she'd bound him to her by obligation or fear of divine retribution, but he can't deny the sway her charm has on him. Maybe it's the Charisma at work?

Damn. That is probably the most ridiculous thought he's ever had today. But hey, he kind of asked for it.

As the music slows, he holds her just a little closer to lean in and, though they're the only ones in the room, speak softly. ]

Hey, so tell me: you've seriously never danced before? Hasn't anyone asked you to?

No... unless you count the bed or the battlefield as dance floors.

[She matches his tone. Gently Ishtar rests her head on his chest. Not for any particular reason. She's not feeling tired, but... it just seemed appropriate.]

[shinssin]

[He chuckles.] Really? I never would have guessed. Anyone in their right mind would kill to be me right now, you know?

[ninanna]

[She loves the flattery. She really does! Especially after the nickname "Useless Goddess" started making the rounds through the Servants of Chaldea. If only more people could shower her with such sweet words.]

Are you trying to butter me up for something? If you are I won't be offended.

[He can't like her JUST BECAUSE. There has to be ulterior motive.]

[shinssin]

No? Why? Are you embarrassed? [His voice gets softer and closer, hot breath now brushing against her ear.] It's all true, though? I thought you didn't mind a little foreplay. You're so cute when you blush...

[And he does mean it.

But he's also taking his revenge, so.]

[Her breath hitches. Curse this vessel and its sensitivity! Everything feels so exciting and new. As if this body hasn't had much experience even if the the servant that resides within it has plenty. Ishtar shivers against him silently cursing her current state. Who let his breath be so warm? Why do his words influence her so?]

A goddess doesn't get embarrassed. I'm just holding back as a courtesy to you.

[shinssin]

Ehehe, so that's how it is. This goddess sure is generous!

[ He doesn't buy it. There's something funny about a goddess putting up a front, though. ]

I wonder if she's falling for me yet.

[ninanna]

I'd put forth that perhaps it's you that's fallen for me. Not too long ago you were ready to go on a childish venture to steal cookies. But now here you are trying to whisper sweet nothings into my ear.

[Ishtar lifts off his feet floating in a way her body drags against him creating friction between them. She stops just a breath short of meeting her lips with his.]

Tell me, Yan Qing, do you have any intentions for where this date should end?

[ Uh oh, it's happening. Yan Qing thinks Ishtar is only here for his dick (probably?) but after actually spending some time with her and picking those little moments apart, she might actually be cute and fun? And he's kind of turned on? Sex is good! But trouble is bad. But she's okay with him as himself! But trouble is still bad. But god, those lips are tempting.

There's only one way to settle this. ]

[ The coward's way. ]

I don't mind that sort of thing, miss, but don't you know you can't sleep with someone until the third date? Ah, I always knew you were that sort of pervert, though.

[ninanna]

[Immediately Ishtar shoves him away. The look on her face is complicated: disgust, disappointment, confusion, anger... and that's just the start. She replaces her formal dress with her normal silks and gold as her crimson eyes bore holes into him. Inwardly she seethes.]

Be gone from my sight.

[shinssin]

[ The moment he's shoved, he changes back as he stumbles, no longer in his suit or anything that would impress her. This was the correct decision, wasn't it? He didn't make it because he's scared of letting people in. Right? Right. ]

Ow! Shit...

[ Before the moment can sink in, a huge commotion begins to stir outside, growing louder each passing moment. Is that screaming?

Then, something rams the side of the ship, hurling fixtures and furniture across the hall. Although he knows Ishtar can avoid it, although he can't tell if they're Emiya's memories or his own — instinct tells him to move. Before a table crushes her against the wall, he tackles Ishtar out of harm's way. ]

[ninanna]

[They tumble across the ballroom floor. Just as quick as he was to tackle her, she is to push him away once they've landed.]

Get off me, [Ishtar hisses almost as if she's keeping back a slew of scalding comments.]

[After the goddess pushes him off her she makes to head for the exit. Purposefully she leaves him behind still clearly hurt from that fresh wound he cut into her by wearing the face of that golden menace.]

[ He'd usually leave the problems he'd caused alone and call it a day, but the conflicting personalities begin to fight within him, going back and forth on what he should do, what he should have done. Stupid, stupid, stupid—

Oh... No matter how honest he is with his body, he cannot speak his heart. What a cute, pitiful man.

Heh. Hiding again? This is why you'll never be a proper Hero, doppelganger. ]

... Aaah...!

[ Why did he have to pick Marie and Emiya, of all Servants?!

He gets up, runs after her, and his mouth moves before he can even think: ]

Ishtar, wait! It's dangerous!

[ —she's a goddess. He knows that. But instinct tells him he shouldn't leave her alone. ]

[She looks over her shoulder for a moment. Her stare is cold but the light is overly reflective in her eyes and lashes because she holds back tears. Her frustration has peaked at an all time high, and she's so sad and angry at the same time she can't quite decide how she's feeling.

Maybe she deserves to be mocked. She's vain, shallow, arrogant, and impulsive. She follows her whims and typically cares little for the feelings of others. Even so she can't help but feel hurt.

After fixing him with that icy stare she flies out onto the deck. There she summons the boat of Maanna to begin helping those that have already begun to fight the beast that attacks their cruise ship.]

[He freezes.

His lips part.

That wasn't his heart aching just now, was it? For a moment, her crying face seemed all too familiar. It wasn't a face he'd seen against the blue spring sky, but the winter sunset...

No, that girl isn't part of this story. Emiya won't take over his body. Even without these misplaced memories, he knows that the pain he feels is his own. And Ishtar is an arrogant and capricious goddess, too callous and prideful to deserve it all, yet here he is, ready to take it back.

He must be really crazy.

He follows her in a rush to the deck despite himself. Yan Qing isn't a Servant meant to fight monsters this size... But he's willing to risk it.]

Ishtar, I'm sorry! My body moved on its own—

[Shit. No. Wrong move.]

[ninanna]

Don't speak to me!

[She doesn't want his apologies now. Not as she's harnessing all this pent up rage to fuel her Noble Phantasm. Ishtar flies high up into the air gathering the mana to summon the power of Venus. It'll be a while, and even then she'll have to wait for the servants to get it in position.

She better not lose her nerve, and this body with its accident prone past better not mess her up!

The water dragon slams yet again into the ship rocking all who stand on its deck.]
