cʜᴀʟᴅᴇᴀ pʜᴀɴᴛᴀꜱᴍ 4 [OPEN POST]
![]() There is a lull to be sure even in Chaldea where work is continually being done in order to restore human history. But the work is important, as it is dangerous and even the Servants and their Master need to recover from the various types of combat situations they find themselves in. So sure, lull it is, but it's honestly never a dull day in Chaldea. With Servants like these? Impossible. "Chaldea Phantasm" is an open sandbox RP post for players to roleplay in the setting based on the mobile game, Fate Grand Order and the Fate franchise. You can play out scenarios between Master and Servant(s), Servants fighting each other, monsters, material/event grinding, AUs, etc. This post will have actual prompts that can be used at your leisure! Otherwise, feel free to write up your own scenario within the presented setting. A) Oh Nooooooo Nurse! You just came back from gathering materials or a particularly nasty battle (curse those wyverns)! The infirmary is there for Servants and Master to rest in although they better hope that a certain vigilant nurse isn't there to meet them. Trying to heal those cuts and burns are the least of your worries when amputation is the cure. Better hope some of the other Servants with healing skills are there instead! In the meanwhile, the infirmary is stocked with all the basic first aid, medicine, and even vitamin gummies. Yum! B) FOUVASION...! How's our furry friend been doing? How adorable, Fou's been running in the hallway. And seen in the kitchen. And then the training room. And then behind that plant. And under the bed. And then on the ceiling. And then a giant Fou-kun in the hall... Uh oh. Maybe one of the Casters have gone hog wild in cloning our best runner. Chaldea is filling up to the brim with Fou!! What do you do!? C) Wildcard What it says on the tin. ➢ In the subject line or in your opening thread, please say if you're opting in or out for spoilers! ➢ If you have a fanmade Servant, please try to link to information or have a quick summary of your character! Likewise with cross-canon characters with a Fate/AU. ➢ Be kind and courteous to one another about spoilers, please! ➢ If stuff gets mildly NSFW or something just mark your threads and we'll be good to go! ➢ It's another lighthearted day in Chaldea... |

He jolts in his spot and turns around quickly.
Can she not be so scary all the time...?]
With a shape like this, it would make more sense if it was candy.
[In an infirmary.]
no subject
[With Nightingale as the undisputed queen? There might be other Servants working there, yes, but would she ever give up that position? Probably not.]
These supplements are in that shape to make them more enticing to the younger Servants who wouldn't take them otherwise.
no subject
Uh huh. You ever heard of giving candy to the well-behaved boys and girls? If you give them medicine like this, they're going to gain trust issues with nurses.
[If they didn't already. All her amputations.
Well, she has good intentions. It's just terrifying.]
no subject
[She does her best. She does! ...it's just scary.
She goes to a desk and pulls out--stickers?]
The children get these. [They're... basically just Fou in various poses with healthy sayings on them.] The commander suggested them as an alternative to candy. The supplements are for regular consumption.
no subject
The stickers are taken from her, his eyes scanning the... how did Fou get on these?]
It's better than nothing, I guess. You're really serious about the health of your patients, huh?
no subject
Are you asking me that? [She stares.] That's the only thing that matters to me.
no subject
No, it's just... as scary as your conviction is, I'm not going to say that it's bad.
no subject
I'm just a nurse. Even if I had all the time in the world I couldn't do as much as I want to; that's why I must go with all I have.
[She doubts she'll have another ninety years as a Servant, after all.]
no subject
... Would she? If it would save a patient, he wouldn't put it past her.]
Don't worry. You're not alone in that, I'm sure. It's rare that there's a Servant who's summoned without regrets. I can count them on one hand.
[He shows off his hand.
There's a small cut on his palm he didn't notice from fighting earlier..]
no subject
If it was to save a life anything was acceptable to her.]
That's true--
[Wait. Hold on. She notices it. Is that... oh god, he forgot to clean it up. It'll get infected. Gangrene. The whole arm-- She roughly grabs his wrist.]
You need to pay attention when you're hurt! We need to disinfect this immediately.
no subject
His eye(s) widen from her snatching his wrist. Though Nightingale is a nurse, she is still a Berserker. Tread with caution. He actually has no idea if she's going to do something insane.
Like rip his arm off. Please don't. It's just a small cut.]
No, it's nothing, seriously. It's completely different from Rama's injury. Don't put me in a bag.
[He's trying to pull his hand back.]
no subject
Not enough to break it, thank god. Just enough to bruise.]
We're going to disinfect the wound, make sure sure that no debris is infecting the area, then wrap it up. If you run around without it treated it might become worse then I won't be able to save your arm.
[Why is it so difficult to get people to let her treat their wounds before they go bad?!]
no subject
Ow, ow, ow! Hey! Quit being so rough!
[BITCHES AND COMPLAINS. AND IS DIFFICULT because Robin.]
And you're dramatic! I've had worse than this. I know you have your lofty motives and all, but forget about me.
[If she so much as pulls out something remotely sharp, he's ditching her.]
no subject
I wouldn't have to be if you weren't struggling!
[She just wants to heal him!]
I will never turn away a patient. [Okay, that? That gets a squeeze.] I better not hear you suggest that again!
[She's dragging him to the cabinets and with her free hand she--turns the handle of the faucet.] I'm going to disinfect you! [She's going to try to shove his hand under the water.]
no subject
No, actually, he would anyway.]
Ow, owowowowow. [Okay. Okay, FINE. When she squeezes, he settles. Enough that he's being dragged to cabinets without fighting it and resigned to his fate. What is she doing to do? Cut his hand off? Luckily, his left hand is the injured one. He needs his right.
Is she going to take all the blood out and clean it and put it back in?
Oh. Disinfect.
No, it's too simple. It's a trick. Yet his hand is just being run under water, washing away a bit of blood. He watches, looking between her and the faucet.]
Am I getting a sticker after this?
no subject
She shuts off the water and opens a drawer with her free hand. There's... several boxes of band aids and she grabs one that has several cartoon characters on it. With all the delicacy of a Beserker she dumps the contents on the counter.]
You can have one of these instead. Pick one.
[And Nightingale doesn't have a sense of humor, you say?]
no subject
Finally, he relaxes. Just enough to look at his palm and the bright red line that is his cut. It stings now. He had been ignoring it.
He closes his fist and looks to the counter. At all the colors spilled there.
Gummies... and cartoon stickers.]
Hahaha. [He can't do anything but laugh at the absurdity, at the discrepancy between Convicted Berserker and a nurse who has cartoon stickers. He would have never expected her to have this tucked away for someone to use.]
This is a surprise. Just one?
no subject
She lets go of his wrist. It might be bruising but she did have enough control not to crush it completely--she just had to apply some strength to get him over there. Washing out a slight cut with water usually helped and if it was a human patient? Maybe some rubbing alcohol.
She only was rough because she knew he'd run.]
Well. We do have children here. [She definitely knows why he's laughing and maybe she's a little embarrassed. She's not denying that Robin might be one of those children, though. It was their Master's idea yet she agreed to it since certain things did help out with patient recovery and mood definitely was one of them.
It wasn't something she could exactly maintain as well as she'd like as a Very Convicted Berserker but small things like keeping more brightly colored band aids was something she could do. It wouldn't aggravate an injury and might make the patient happier. In the drawer was more plain band aids, of course, but well. Robin was a kid, too.]
One. I'll allow a second if it starts coming loose from you bending your hand.
no subject
And for not using alcohol. The painful kind.
He knows there's children. It might be the reason he's hanging around, too. No, he's been lingering for a lot of reasons. Reasons he wouldn't ever care to disclose. Reasons he'll chalk up to "he was around and had nothing else to do" versus some explanation on how Robin struggles with his own desire to help people when they need it.
Since he doesn't have to explain, he keeps his mild smile on as he looks through the pile. He snorts.]
Not for being a good patient? [HE WASN'T ONE.] Right, I'll piiiick... oh, this one.
[He takes it from the pile. And puts it in his pocket. He doesn't put it on.]
no subject
There might be a reason that she didn't chase him off until she saw he was stealing medicine. People who care, even if they swore they didn't, were rare enough. She did make her life goal to helping those that couldn't treat themselves, after all.
The pick seems... fitting. Birds.]
If you were a good patient you wouldn't have struggled. [And his wrist would be less bruised. Wait. She grabs him again.]
You're putting that on.
no subject
This time, he doesn't struggle. As much.] Ow! Quit-- [He glances at her grip on his wrist and relents. See? He learns!]
Yeah. Okay, okay. I get it.
[The band aid is pulled out of his pocket and he sighs.]
I'll need my wrist back from your capture, Miss Nurse. Or did you want to put it on for me?
no subject
Her grip loosens greatly...then she lets go. Only to grab a paper towel.]
Dry your hand first. It won't stick otherwise. [Have a paper towel rubbed on your hand for a moment before she pulls it away. Berserkers go for broke, it seems.]
You may put it on. However, I will do it if you want me to.
no subject
He would have done it himself, but Nightingale just BABIES him.
To answer her, he pointedly peels the band-aid right in front of her and puts it on himself. All while keeping eye contact.
Angry Birds was the right choice.]
There. May I be discharged?
no subject
Er. Anyone who doesn't escape.]
You may go. However, please one more thing before you go.
[She takes away the towel and holds out her hand for a handshake?]
If you please. I will hold back; it's just an old habit of mine.
no subject
He expects her to say he needs to come back every time he needs to the bandage. Or to have some sort of follow-up for his small cut. Or if there's any changes he should tell her immediately (he wouldn't)
Nope. A handshake.
... Does he use his injured hand?]
Old habits die hard. [With that said, he actually reaches for her hand and grips it. He uses the one without a cut.]
But I'm not all that surprised you won't let habits die, either.
