Not that bad judging by the date! The bottle I held looks new, but the whiskey's aged rather nicely.

So how'd you end up working here, Lien?

I'm gonna say, odd circumstances, fate, and the fact that I like having some extra cash on me when I don't have anyone hiring me for my usual gig.

... Hey, if you don't mind me asking... Do you believe in the supernatural?

[He was about to ask about her 'usual gig', but her question distracts him. He chuckles.]

Yeah, I guess you could say I do. Why?

Well, for one thing-- Just gonna give it straight to you, I'm getting weird vibes from you. That and the white hair. Which looks nice by the way, nothing against it! I know a guy who has white hair, he's only fifteen and he can see into the future!

So, yeah supernatural.

What exactly is your "usual gig"?

I'm usually a detective.

Seriously? You don't seem the type.

It's cause I'm seventeen isn't it?

Well...yeah. Aren't detectives usually old guys with magnifying glasses, and pipes and funny hats?

Well, they're not all old and they're not all men. And they're missing one special thing that sets me apart from the rest!

Uh huh! I mean, I believe in magic and in stuff like spirits, and demons... Never got to meet any though to be honest. They tend to keep to themselves.
