[In the town of Blackgale, California again one teenage Korean American is sitting in the living room belonging to her mentor, the Emerald Witch. What is she doing this beautiful weekend?
Studying. Yawn. A bunch of magical tomes and spell books and a book on potion recipes are opened up around her along with sheets of notebook papers strewn around. Lucinda Chang, apprentice and heir of the Emerald Witch taps her chin with her right arm thoughtfully obviously drifting off from actually reading and getting any studying done...]
Okay so... I CAN make a computer appear out of nowhere, but it's not like it'll work. Oh, man I bet you could totally sell people fake computers made with magic and get a ton of money and--
Wait, that would get me arrested wouldn't it?
[Her right arm... Glows a bit. She blinks and examines said arm. She's been settling into the new arm nicely-- it looks the same, the outside feels the same and receives sensory details like her old arm did. But it seems to have picked up other tricks as well.]
Huh. Feels itchy all of a sudden. Wonder why?
[She shrugs and helps herself to a chocolate chip cookie. It's not like anything TOO weird was gonna happen immediately.]

So with tricks like that, any particular reason I haven't seen many demon-hunting witches?
no subject
Beats me. I've only had about over half a year to get used to this witch thing.

[Sort of twirling his sword as he follows the string. Don't get him wrong, this is fascinating, he's just annoyed that he didn't kill it properly.]
Got any other tricks?
no subject
What about you?
no subject
Oh, you know. Big sword, awesome guns, shrugging off six-foot-long slabs of metal to the chest, can beat demons to death with a motorcycle... The usual demon hunter gig. But seriously, what more do you need than this?
[Holding his arms out to the side so you can respect his MAJESTY. YOU CAN'T ARGUE WITH THAT CAN YOU.]
no subject
[Her face goes 'wat']
... Are all those true? I mean, the motorcycle part and the... Um.
no subject
[Ridiculous superhuman stunts literally made up on the spot? Sure. Making a pizza poof out of nowhere? He wishes.]
Oh yeah. I've got a really big sword. As for the whole getting stabbed thing... Let's just say I've got a business partner who likes to shoot me if I tick her off.
[And as far as I know, paint ball guns weren't around back then; they still had *jukeboxes* in nearly every building we saw in DMC3.
All two of them.]no subject
Isn't that like domestic violence?!
no subject
Yeah, you could call it that. But that's just what you call tough love.
It's a real headache sometimes, though. But at least she's not aiming any lower.

You gonna be okay, kid? You look a little pale.
no subject
I lost my right arm once. It hurt so BAD I thought I was really going to die.
no subject
Yeah, well. That's 'cause you're human. I don't even think it's possible for me to lose an arm. It'd hurt like a bitch, yeah, but...
[Never mind that there were a few times he really WOULD have lost an arm. Or had it bisected hamburger-style instead of just severed. Buuuut probably shouldn't mention that.]
... Still, sorry. Normally, people don't know what that's like, so it's fun to mess with 'em a little. Let me guess, you slapped it back on with some magic?
no subject
It's okay. [Holds up her arm] I couldn't get back my other arm. It broke into a ton of pieces since it got frozen so my teacher had to make a quick replacement.
no subject
Doesn't look like a quick replacement to me. Just kinda... festive.
no subject
And it kinda itches when something... Weird or supernatural is nearby. I think that's the trend, I'm not really sure yet.
But I think you're a good indication of that being the case.
no subject
[No pun intended, for once. Oh ho ho.]
... Hey, just where is this Steinbeck chick, anyway? Given the party we're having, I'm surprised she hasn't come running. Not that I'm complaining, given what that thing did to her roof.
no subject
She's out visiting another witch I think. I was supposed to be watching the house for her.
Emphasis on supposed to.
no subject
Do witches have built-in lie detectors, too?
no subject
We can make truth potions. Why?
no subject

no subject
Whatever. Are we there yet?
no subject
Um... [Her trail is flickering] Ugh, it's almost disappearing.
no subject
Does that mean we're close, or is it just wearing off?
