CONTINUED FROM TFLN MEMEBELLS ⇒ T.G.I.F.
[Amelia should have learned how to use her cell phone properly at some point. She meant to send her message inviting people for a drink to a few select people in town-- Libby her bartender, Emily Maxwell, a previous student of hers, hell maybe even Micheal and Adam.
Somehow this hasn't happened.]

[Amelia had to shoo away the talking cats, clear the living room of the books and practically redecorate the interior of the house-- it was no longer the cozy vintage home she had been living in for decades, but rather a fancy contemporary and industrial looking household.
A household now filled with various party goers called up by a certain billionaire playboy who is a terrible person. The nice thing about being in a witch's house is that the food and drink are plentiful and that the magic that's literally around in the house seems to keep people in high spirits. Some people are also complimenting the now well-dressed Amelia how charming and post-modern the wind chimes decorating her ceiling were. Funny how they aren't making any sounds despite the crowd.
As for the witch, she's walking around and doing her best to be pleasant despite her dislike of huge crowds and keeping an eye on the hallway. People could get lost in there unfortunately.
This is going to be a long Friday.]

The world of magic tolerates humans- because we are technically 'mortal' with several stark differences. But humans are still outside of the sphere.
I'm an unintentional intruder within that sphere.

You are powerful. If you were born on Asgard, you would have been respected, and your outlook on parties would be very different than they are now.

'If...' It's such a heavy word.
I don't think I would have had such an aversion towards parties had I not realized during that first gathering that I was all alone at ten years old in the world. A witch, but still seen as a human. A human who had paid the price for her power by leaving behind things that took her years to realize were precious in their own right.
And I had no one to blame for my loneliness except for myself.

But I suppose if all that hadn't happened I wouldn't be here talking with a Norse god. You and Thor would have stayed in the pages of stories I've read... So, in a way no matter what had happened maybe it's not all for nothing.

When he does speak, he just shifts his weight to where he faces her instead of the night-time view.]
You were young. Everyone is naive when they are children - even the gods.
[a teasing (yet strangely ironic) grin, faint in the dim lighting]
I am glad that I rank higher than 'nothing', at least. You do not know what that does for my self-worth.

That's good to hear. And I'll have to keep thanking you for even the littlest things then won't I?

... Interesting. I don't know if it's just me, but this drink is tasting better.

Torn between... his regular mischievous self and maybe giving her fair warning--]
Do not drink too much of it. I believe there is a saying here on Midgard that references 'too much of a good thing...'?

[Luckily she's a witch so maybe she could resist the want for more Asgardian mixed drinks...? Speaking of which it does sound like it's getting more wild in there... Something's getting around]
Well, I'll definitely have some later. This is refreshing.

[Doop de doo stepping towards her and taking that drink from her hand, ignoring the rowdiness that can be heard from inside.]
In the meantime, it would be a shame to let the rest of it go to waste.
[He downs it, without much else warning. 8| ]

I have not been given the title of Trickster on a whim. You may ask anyone on Asgard this.
