OOC: So basically, this is a voicetest post for Mirai Kuriyama from Kyoukai no Kanata or Beyond the Boundary because memes are hard so I might as well make my own post! I'll post two different scenarios, and a whatever goes choice, just indicate which one you want to play out and I'll go along! She's taken from episode six, so details are subject to change in the future!

A. Youmu Hunting

[A young high school girl is out and about. It's late at night, shouldn't she be at home? But Mirai Kuriyama has her sights set on a very large and frightening creature which... some people in the town don't notice. She's chasing it towards the park however. Follow, y/n?]

B. World Tripping

[What's this? Mirai has no idea where she is. This isn't the town she's familiar with. Heck, maybe she's not even in Japan anymore. She looks very bewildered, even a little scared.

Looks like she has ended up in a different world altogether (aka your character's world).]

C. Anything Goes

[Make up your own scenario, hit me up with an idea and we'll see what can be done!]

[She takes back the card and tries to give him a sensible, but comprehensible answer.]

I'm a Spirit World Warrior, but I suppose my ability is sort of like magic. It's exclusive to my bloodline however.

On Earth, there's a Spirit World Society. We are people who can see monsters called "youmu" that normal people can't see. Sometimes they cause trouble and so someone like me is authorized to hunt them down and I gain some monetary reward from the youmu I hunt.

Youmu.

[He repeats the word, sounding it out, but it doesn't trigger any memories.]

I have never heard of such things, but then my knowledge of Earth is limited.

Were you hunting one of these youmu before you ended up here?

Ah, yes! I don't know where it is now, but it's possible it found a way to get here too.

It's true there are hidden paths between the realms, but they are not usually so easy to find.

Can you describe the beast you were hunting?

This one hand wings... Sort of like a dragon! It's big but not too big.

[She spreads our her arms until it's a straight line, indicating it's size which is approximately the length of her wingspan]

Like this! It's gray and had five blue eyes. Ahhh, I hope I didn't miss it! It might be worth a lot of money.

But, what if it flew too far away for me to find? It's impossible for me in a place I don't know at this rate!

[Is she upset? A little.]

I have not seen such a thing during the battle today. Perhaps it did not find its way here, and is still on Earth?

That seems more likely. I don't suppose there's a way back for me is...

HRRRRRGGGGGHLLLLLLLLEEEEE.

[That is a noise that echoes from Mirai's stomach, making her stop short. She takes off her glasses and starts polishing them]

Ah. Um. Er. Now, about that...!

[Thor looks amused.]

I think we should see to that before we start looking for a way home for you. Follow me.

[They were lucky this time and managed to stop the invaders before they reached the village they were targeting. The Asgardians had set up their temporary base there.]

[Mirai looks surprised, but she nods and follows after Thor.]

[She's looking around and can't help but remark:]

It's like I'm stuck in a fantasy world...

It is no trouble.

What is your home like in Japan?

Well, right now I'm living in a city that isn't too big or too small. There's a lot of buildings and...

[She pauses and lets out a soft sight.]

I'm sorry. I'm not the best person to ask about such things.

... If there's one thing I'm able to describe, it's the sakura trees in the spring.

I am not familiar with these trees. What are they like?

The sakura are actually very short lived. When they bloom, they only last about a week and than the blossoms fall to the ground. There are different kinds, but the one Japanese like most are the white or pale pink flowers.

So when they appear, people go to have picnics under the trees so they can enjoy the sakura while it lasts! We call it Hanami.

[A beat and she looks down at her feet.]

I haven't been able to do that recently. Hopefully... Maybe that will change soon.

That sounds like a nice custom. We have several flowering trees in Asgard, but nothing quite like that.

[They finally get to the village, which is swarming with men in armor and villagers. There's a group of prisoners off to one side, and the woman guarding them salutes Thor from across the field.]

Amazing...

[Mirai is in awe of this sort of scenery. She's so used to the urban nature of the cities in Japan after all that it's hard to believe people really live like this even in the countryside.

Then again, not even the countryside had soldiers in armor still using things like axes, swords, and arrows.]

Was there a battle before I came along??

Yes, there was.

[He leads her across the village towards where they've set up supplies.]

Vanaheim has been under attack from bandits and marauders. We have been fighting them back, but it is slow going.

[She nods in understanding.]

Are they trying to take over these villages? That's seriously unpleasant.

They are trying to plunder as much of Vanaheim as they can. But we will stop them.

Do you think you'll win?

[He gives her a confident smile.]

Of course we will! It is only a matter of time.

[If he has any doubts, he's keeping them to himself.]

I see...

You're really strong though aren't you though? I mean after all... Your muscles are amazing! I'm seriously impressed! You look like you can take on an army!

I would certainly try. Luckily I have an army of my own at my back.

[Suddenly this girl makes him think of Darcy, back on Earth.]

[She's certainly as inquisitive. Perhaps not as sarcastic though.]

Oh, I see!

[Wait a second.]
