This a post where I'll RP anything with you and that means ANYTHING. Except smut because I suck at that Got a scenario in mind? I'LL DO IT. Here's some prompts below to help get things moving along if you don't have an idea to play out. The prompts are just prompts, if you have something specific, just let me know either at sweethymns or my AIM (rainsweets). Have at it! ➢ 01. AMUSEMENT PARK: Disneyland? Knotts Berry Farm? Six Flags? SNOWY DAY: Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful... or the level of snowfall can be any you wish! Light or heavy, there's going to be some winter related activities somewhere. ➤ 04. DINER: I love food, I really, really, really love food. And so do muses if they like to eat too! This diner seems to have a very HUGE menu with a large variety of dishes! Let's bond over food stuffs! ➢ 05. SICK DAY: Either your muse or my muse is sick. Who's taking care of who? ➤ 06. No, I'm sure you're not. The Grail doesn't choose unworthy weaklings. Just... if you and your Servant can understand each other's feelings, things go better. That's all I'm saying.

So, what's the power in your Mystic Eyes that makes you so fearless? [Inquiring minds need to know.]

It's quite different from my sister's. They're Mystic Eyes of Distortion.

[Waver puts on his most thoughtful face, thinking about that kind of power. (Somehow, he thinks it's good that the powers weren't switched between sisters, although it might seem to suit them better.)]

I can imagine that being useful for attack, sure. [You'd still be mincemeat for any Servant that felt like a sneak attack though. (It takes so much will power to not say that out loud.)]

Can you distort anything beyond the physical?

It depends. I can control my ability fairly well, but sometimes its strength is volatile.

[She sighs.]

I try not to use it too much, but it's been getting a lot of it these days.

[Serious urge to bop this girl on the head- depending on a power that is 'volatile' that she can control 'fairly well' so that she can wander around without her Servant during a War...
Ugh, kids.]

"It depends." So, give me an example then. Could you physically distort that tree to turn it into toothpicks? [He points to one across the courtyard.] Could you distort the space between us and it so that it's closer? [He points to a bird under the tree.] Could you distort time so that we could sneak up on that bird really quickly, or so that we could watch it fly in slow-motion?

[Technically, he's asking about things that are at the very boundaries of regular magecraft. Where do the Mystic Eyes fit in?]

[She looks rather incredulously at Waver and the stream of questions...]

As long as it's within my line of sight, physical objects don't stand a chance. Everything... Well, it bends.

If I looked at the tree in front of us right now, I could make it twist and then it would break.

You'd be in serious trouble from a sneak-attack, though. [Couldn't resist bringing it up after all.]

Maybe. But it's not like I haven't been cautious.

[And her right hand shows she still has three of her spells.]

[Okay, so she's cautious and still has three Command Spells. But she's so gonna get hurt...]

Have you happened across any other Masters or Servants yet?

[emotive]

We've come across several Servants. Masters are surprisingly far a few in between so far.

Mmm. That's not too unexpected. It's not a bad strategy to stay behind the front lines and let the Servants do their jobs. It sounded like there's a lot of irregularities in your War though, so who knows what will happen.

Come to think of it, how long has your War been on for?

[emotive]

It's been a few weeks. Almost a month, but not quite. [Ai looks at her hand that holds the Spells, looking thoughtful.]

The first night I was in Fuyuki was when I first encountered Lancer. There were these... Rifts in the city I was investigating. It was as if the boundaries of this world were disrupted and it's letting in demonic creatures and maddening Servants without a Master.

[She can't help, but smile at the memory of meeting Diarmuid the morning after.]

I might have died that night if I didn't make a contract with Diarmuid. We've been trying to sort out this mess of a War since then.

'Mess of a War' is an understatement. Nearly a month? And you and Lien making contracts in such irregular ways...

[He shakes his head.] I can't decide if I'd want to return here in ten years to see it for myself or not.
[Interesting, but trouble. And who wants trouble?]

But please tell me you've not been trying to 'sort it out' on your own? What about the Church? The Association? If it's that big of a mess, they're the ones who should be sorting it.

[emotive]

Well, I've contacted my sensei. As for the Church, we went to see the overseer at the church building in Fuyuki itself, but...

[... Is her head hurting again? Maybe.]

... There was another Servant inside. If that place is supposed to be neutral ground, I don't know what he was doing in there.

Seriously?!

[Having joined his War in a rather 'unofficial' capacity, his ability to gather information had been limited. But given the role of the Church, it was unthinkable that there would be a Servant there, let alone contracted to someone there.

Wow, this fifth War is hardly a Holy Grail War at all. I hope the Association gets their rear in gear and does something.

What about those rifts you mentioned? Did you find out anything more about them, or if they're connected to this?

[emotive]

Well, they're usually near prominent leylines. And we did find out that if we defeat a maddened Servant connected to a rift, then it closes up. It's more important to take care of that business so that those Servants don't start preying on humans for more prana.

[... She's not gonna mention that she's capable of distorting one open, but she's only done so once so it doesn't count. Yeah.]

[...Interesting, but huge amounts of trouble.][He clenches his fist, for a moment wishing for Rider's strength to go and help with this-
But that's impossible in many different ways.]

No clue as to what's causing it?

[emotive]

[Ai shakes her head.]

The cause is mostly unknown for now. Lien had been staying in Fuyuki for a while and nothing seemed amiss until I flew to Japan to meet her and investigate the cause. I don't think neither of could imagine the situation escalating as it has and getting involved in it.

Mmm. So you don't suspect the Grail itself? No... more likely someone or something messing with the Grail to get these unusual results...?

[It's frustrating not being able to put things together for himself. And it's little use getting this information second-hand. He gives a dissatisfied sigh, but then tries to give Ai an encouraging smile. (Sorry if it comes out a little thin.)]

Well, good luck with your investigation. Sounds like you got your work cut out for you.

Don't I know it. But thank you for the thought. I've come this far, so I can only keep going forward from here.

[... Now then. She's been holding it off, not wanting her curiosity to get the best of her, but she decides it's now or never.]

Um. If you don't mind, would it be alright if I asked about what Diarmuid was like when you met him in the Fourth War?

Uh- [Sorry, he has a bit of an instinctive reaction still. But he regains his composure readily enough.]

No, I don't mind, but I wasn't around him much. Anything in particular you wanted to know?

[She crosses her arms, thinking about what to ask.]

For starters... Was he always courteous and respectable towards others even if it was towards enemies?

That's just for starters? That's practically his whole character!

Yes, he was extremely courteous to us during our temporary truce. And he showed great respect to his enemies on the battlefield.

[emotive]

[Ai looks... happy? Yeah, that's it. The fact that Diarmuid was someone who was consistent in such virtues towards others and not just her relieved her somewhat. although that screwed him over in the end, but shhhhh]

I-I wanted to ask since I'm his Master and he's very respectful towards me not only because of his character, but because of our contract. It's a little nerve wrecking if I'm to be completely honest.

I'm doing my best to be a Master that's worth serving. It's a strange position for someone like me...

He strikes me as the kind of person who will serve his Master, no matter what. But he will respect and willingly obey a Master who behaves in line with his own beliefs more easily. I don't think a nice person like you would have to worry too much, but this is why I said you should take some time to try and understand him.

For example, Lancer's former Master gave him an order that was not in line with his chivalrous ideals at all. Because he resisted, the Master had to use a Command Spell to force him into that action.

[He can't help but smirk a little at that. He respected Lancer for that one.]

You can see how that is a disadvantage.
