OPEN RP POST DEUX

This a post where I'll RP anything with you and that means ANYTHING. ~~Except smut because I suck at that~~ Got a scenario in mind? I'LL DO IT. Here's some prompts below to help get things moving along if you don't have an idea to play out. The prompts are just prompts, if you have something specific, just let me know either at

sweethymns or my AIM (rainsweets). Have at it!

➢ 01. AMUSEMENT PARK: Disneyland? Knotts Berry Farm? Six Flags? A made up amusement park with knockoff characters? Who cares, let's just ride that roller coaster or that giant swing ride!
➤ 02. PARK: Benches, trees, grass, maybe a lake and a basketball or volleyball court.
➢ 03. SNOWY DAY: Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful... or the level of snowfall can be any you wish! Light or heavy, there's going to be some winter related activities somewhere.
➤ 04. DINER: I love food, I really, really, really love food. And so do muses if they like to eat too! This diner seems to have a very HUGE menu with a large variety of dishes! Let's bond over food stuffs!
➢ 05. SICK DAY: Either your muse or my muse is sick. Who's taking care of who?
➤ 06. SEVEN MINUTES IN HEAVEN: Our characters are stuck in a closet and can't get out until there is some kissing, so they better make good use of those seven minutes... DON'T YOU DARE JUDGE ME.
➢ 07. SCHOOL: High school never ends! Or any type of schooling really. So whether it's in class or in the gym, let's try to endure mandatory education!
➤ 08. SURVIVAL HORROR: That old mansion/creepy town/underground science lab/zombie infested city ain't going to be survived by itself. Grab your medicinal herbs and shotguns, let's survive the horror.
➢ 09. WILDCARD: Let's make up shit.

[Iona here is none the wiser and just waves off the last part like it ain't no thing because it isn't. She's done her fair share of flirting even although with significantly less cheese.]

I have a feeling there's more to that then just falling off of a roof which... I would imagine would do a whole other number on the rest of you. Hell, I'm surprised you're alive enough to find my cafe in the middle of the rain.

Guess you're the lucky type then?

Luck? —Nah, you just have to know which roofs you can fall off of.

[ There's a bit of shrewdness there, as if he's in on a little secret, but it comes and goes. Despite majoring in idiocy 90% of the time, he's not a complete bozo— it's the reason he hasn't buckled, all things considered. ]

If push comes to shove, I have a doctor in the family, too! It's not actually as great as it sounds, though, let me tell you.

[Ah. That cinches it then.]

Family doctor, huh? What makes you say the last part though? I'd imagine he'd have to be good at what he does to be employed like that.

[ Gus is 100% serious about balling his hands into fists and quivering like a chihuahua. ]

He always looks too happy about giving me shots...!!

[ ah... ]

He seems like he cares... Too much...

Like, how many shots do you actually need though, or is he the kind that makes up an excuse to shoot you up?

Painkillers, on occasion? He also likes to bandage me up a little too tight, I can feel his passive-aggression through the process...!!

[ That comes with a whole other set of figurative needling, which Gus shudders about. ]

I can appreciate wanting to like what you do, but sometimes... sometimes...

The passive aggression could probably be because you give him so much work.

[She laughs, shaking her head.]

But hey, maybe it's meant to be? You got roughed up and it led you to my humble abode. That's what I call a chance meeting. ♥

[ Noooo don't do this!!! He falls for it, hook, line, and sinker, and drapes himself over the surface of his table again. ]

Yeah? Maybe I'll go get beat up again tomorrow night...

[ He'll pay in bad jokes and worse flirting. ]

There are some storms I'll willingly weather for a cute girl and a great cup of coffee, but fine. I just can't say no to that face ♥

[This guy sure is a treat. It's terrible flirting, and Iona knows it, but it's entertaining and that's what counts.]

[ There are Reasons, but he glosses over them entirely. ]

I know! I think that every day, too. [ Nerdy grin... ] Maybe when things settle down and I don't have to keep running around. I'll keep my right hand open for you, just in case.

[She settles down on her stool, letting out a content sigh.]

So it's still raining out there in Paris...

It's been raining for the past three days, now. Good thing Montmartre's just as nice in the rain as it is in the sun, huh?

[ He says this as if he doesn't realize the implications behind the fact that she doesn't know; it's dawning on him, slowly. Come on, IQ300. ]

[~~that cannot be real!!~~ Iona nods blithely and obliviously.]

Yeah. Rain would make it even more romantic than before if that's even possible.

If it gets people to come in here though, that's good business for me!

[ ~~rumors of his intelligence are highly exaggerated.~~

And, well....he sees an opportunity... will he take it, is the question. ]

—if you want to slip out for a few minutes...

[ Yes, yes he will. This was never a question. ]

Oh... Oh! Oh, oh no, I don't think I should!

[Yeah, sounding strangely insistent there, Iona!]

I mean, I'm not dressed for the weather out there.

[ He motions downwards, to his soaked suit and his slightly-torn pant leg. This is probably like a mad expensive Chanel equivalent, but he doesn't care. ]

Good, because I'm not dressed for it either.

Well, when you put it that way, I'm tempted...

[Oren confirmed it himself; a trip to this specific 1879 wouldn't be world-shattering. No butterfly effect or any movie time travel logic at work here. The gilded door simply showed up in a parallel year where things may or may not be the same.

Anyway.]

Um, you're still a stranger, Gus. I'm not sure my sense of adventure overpowers sensibility. Yet.

[ Hm. There are suspicions that are slowly being confirmed for him— namely, that she isn't from around here despite everything that tells him that she should— and his mind whirs, comes up with improbables, and generally accepts that life is strange.

So, with conviction: ]

Alright. But if I find this place again after tonight— [ there's the caveat ] —we'll go out.

[Iona studies Gus as if something was illuminated in her mind upon him saying that.

And decides it doesn't hurt to ask.]

... Where did you find the door, if you don't mind me asking?

[ Okay, that word, 'find'. Another mental tally, but he's less suspicious and more curious, so he answers truthfully: ]

Montmartre, near the Place du Tertre. Ring a bell?

[WOW WHY ARE THE BOTH OF THEM INCONVENIENTLY SHARP!!!]

... Ah, yeah. Got me there...

[Guilty as charged.]

[ Number one way to get on a girl's shitlist is to pry, so he doesn't ask any more questions than he has to: Claude's better at that, and she doesn't seem like she's actively trying to harm him, so there's a point in her favor! All he does is grin, his features canine in contrast to his brother's more feline qualities. ]

Good! I'll show you around when you can slip out, so get excited.

[She's stunned into silence for a moment at how he just... Jumps the gun... And then laughs. It's a laugh of utter relief at how he's not taking this seriously and it's less of a burden on her.]

You're really gunning for a date with me aren't you? I like that!
