This a post where I'll RP anything with you and that means ANYTHING. Except smut because I suck at that Got a scenario in mind? I'LL DO IT. Here's some prompts below to help get things moving along if you don't have an idea to play out. The prompts are just prompts, if you have something specific, just let me know either at sweethymns or my AIM (rainsweets). Have at it! ➢ 01. AMUSEMENT PARK: Disneyland? Knotts Berry Farm? Six Flags? Light or heavy, there's going to be some winter related activities somewhere. ➤ 04. DINER: I love food, I really, really, really love food. And so do muses if they like to eat too! This diner seems to have a very HUGE menu with a large variety of dishes! Let's bond over food stuffs! ➢ 05. SICK DAY: Either your muse or my muse is sick. Who's taking care of who? ➤ 06. SEVEN MINUTES IN HEAVEN: Our characters are stuck in a closet and can't get out until there is some kissing, so they better make good use of those seven minutes... DON'T YOU DARE JUDGE ME. ➢ 07. SCHOOL: High school never ends! Or any type of schooling really. So whether it's in class or in the gym, let's try to endure mandatory education! ➤ 08. These are all books with instructions on basic magecraft. Since I'm part of this war and you need to worry about other Servants, I should get on track so that I don't keep falling over my ass half the time.

[lansaigh]

Yeah, well. That's all well and good, but if the other Masters have years of experience on you, a little more training's not going to do much.

[ lancer.... ]

[She waves her finger at him almost condescendingly]

Now, now, see that's why my Eyes come in handy for this sort of thing. Years of experience, I can memorize in maybe, what, ten minutes flat? Give or take.

I'm the type of person a magus who gains things through tedious textbook study, hates as you can see.

[lansaigh]

There are things you can't learn just from paper, big-head.

[ He gets up, pushing his chair in to brush by Lien. Along the way, he tries to put a hand on her wet head to muss her hair. ]

What makes you think I haven't done it before- GUH!

[She makes an indignant noise as he musses up her hair]

Don't try to convince me that you've been on a battlefield before, little lady. Trust me, I'd know.

[ The hand gets pulled back, waves in a wide arc. ]

[She... She looks a little defeated.]

I gotta stand up for myself you know. Maybe I won't be able to cast anything fancy, but...

[lansaigh]

But you'll leave the heavy-hitting to me. Hey, I didn't say anything about tucking your tail between your legs, did I?

[ A little tilt of the head, and a light grin. ]

That courage is stupid, but I like it. Just don't overdo it and do anything stupid, you'll get me killed before I can do my job.

[She is very grumbly and she falls to her side, back turned to him. Again. The petulance!!]

If I'm a Master, why am I getting lectured? Geeeeez.

I'm a Heroic Spirit before I'm a Servant, kiddo. You drew a bad straw.

[ And he moves to sit on one of the couches, settling into the cushions like a big...blue dog... ]

[ MOMENTARILY FLABBERGASTED... but, ok, he shrugs and gives her one of those faux-resigned sighs. ]

I've killed people for less, you know.

[She rolls over, putting on her glasses and sticking her tongue out at Lancer.]

Yeah, but I'm cute.

[lansaigh]

Hey, "cute". I'm Lancer.

[ He rolls over on the couch, closing his eyes. ]

The basic point is, is that the very least I can do besides providing you prana is to stock up on some Magecraft 101. My first priority is to at least set up a Bounded Field around this place. Don't want people trying to attack me without some resistance.

[Oh, another thought occurs to her and so Lien sits up and looks at Lancer. ]

Say. How else are Servants able to get prana??

[lansaigh]

[ according to eroge physics??? by doing the do

Lancer opens one eye like a cat, still sprawled on the couch with his feet on the cushions. ]

Huh? A couple of ways. The Grail gives us a good supply of prana to stay in this world, but we've got other ways to stay intact in case of an emergency. Energy from leylines, blood and fluids [ oh... ], human souls. That kind of thing.

[psychometer]

[She opens her mouth as he mentions the last few things with an incredibly INCREDULOUS look on her face. And then she closes it, opting to wrinkle her nose and brows instead.]

So.

Heroic Spirits are like rechargeable batteries and certain things and people are like outlets??

[lansaigh]

[ The comparison takes a moment to sink in (batteries?? outlets?? ok, thanks for the convenient info fill-in, Holy Grail), but after a beat, he nods. ]

Crudely put, yeah. Food and sleep also help, supposedly, but as I said before— not necessary, as long as you keep pulling your weight.

[psychometer]

Hey, at least I didn't make a plugging in joke.

Oops, just did it.

[CHEESING IT TO THE BATHROOM look she does need to dry her hair, it's an excuse!]

[lansaigh]

[ Listen girl he's a Heroic Spirit of the days of old... taking castles and sleeping with girls was basically his entire life back then.

So he calls out to her quickly receding back, with the most casual: ]

Wishful thinking, kiddo!

[psychometer]

[GODDAMMIT!!]

[She's interrupted by the ringing of the telephone and she goes to grab it off the wall glaring at Lancer.]

Hello??

[A beat. And then there's a look of pleasant surprise.]

Hey, you're in town, Thao?

[She's speaking in Vietnamese; it hasn't occurred to Lien that Lancer would be able to understand due to the nature of Servants.]

What seems to be the problem? Mm hm? Wait, why me?

[There is a long pause.]

... I thought so. The news on TV said the property damage that was caused was unknown, but...

[And now Lien looks troubled.]

[lansaigh]

[ He's not intending to listen in, but it's a natural occurrence given that he's right there. A lift of his head off the couch, and he watches Lien's expression change from warm to cold with a sense of inevitability: if there's one thing he knows, it's that things don't stay peaceful for long.

He doesn't interrupt, though, still settled on the couch, casually attentive. ]

... Mm. This was just a few nights ago wasn't it? That's when I was also out...

You take care of yourself. I... Can't take visitors right now. My place is kind of a mess!

[A lie. All things considered, Lien's apartment is fairly spotless, stray books on the ground and a basket of yarn and crochet needles aside.]

Maybe later in the week? I'll call you when we can meet. Yeah. I'm doing fine. Like always... Bye then. [Lien hangs up the phone and leans against the wall in a posture of pondering.]

... Lancer. We're going out tonight.

[lansaigh]

Dinner, or a nice walk?

[ He knows that that's not what she means by "going out", but he waves a hand and sits up. ]

Hm? Well, why not both? I don't feel like cooking tonight and groceries are low anyways.

[Deflection or she sincerely just thought that???? This young lady, honestly...]

After I dry my hair, I'll go out and buy you some clothes to wear in public. I won't take long, so you can just take it easy until I get back. That sound okay?
