I'm glad she treated you fairly enough though. I'm sure in her own way, she was trying to be fair to you instead of letting it get to her.

Enemy or not... I think she's kind. And I think she would be a great magus if she wanted to be.

She must have told you about how her eyes see projections of memories that are from places, objects, or people right? That sort of ability could help her recover so much lost knowledge and further herself as a magus.

After all, the night we met up with her, she already created a strong Bounded Field and defeated the person behind the kidnappings. Perhaps it was luck, but she learned so quickly.

[Ai laughs quietly, mostly at herself.]

It's not that I don't understand the implications of what it does to her. Those Eyes aren't natural. It's why I'm ashamed of feeling like this. It's not easy for her either.

If you'd permit me to speak freely, I would think that it's your own commitment to furthering yourself that you feel that way. If the root of your feelings came from a negative place, I couldn't commend them— but your pursuit towards betterment can hardly be considered something to discourage.
