This a post where I'll RP anything with you! Got a scenario in mind? I'LL DO IT. Here's some prompts below to help get things moving along if you don't have an idea to play out. The prompts are just prompts, if you have something specific, just let me know either at sweethymns or my AIM (rainsweets). Have at it! ➢ 01. AMUSEMENT PARK: Disneyland? Knotts Berry Farm? Six Flags? A made up amusement park with knockoff characters? Who cares, let's just ride that roller coaster or that giant swing ride! ➤ 02. PARK: Benches, trees, grass, maybe a lake and a basketball or volleyball court. ➢ 03. SNOWY DAY: Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful... or the level of snowfall can be any you wish! Light or heavy, there's going to be some winter related activities somewhere. ➤ 04. DINER: I love food, I really, really, really love food. And so do muses if they like to eat too! This diner seems to have a very HUGE menu with a large variety of dishes! Let's bond over food stuffs! ➢ 05. SICK DAY: Either your muse or my muse is sick. Who's taking care of who? ➤ 06. SEVEN MINUTES IN HEAVEN: Our characters are stuck in a closet and can't get out until there is some kissing, so they better make good use of those seven minutes... DON'T YOU DARE JUDGE ME. ➢ 07. SCHOOL: High school never ends! Or any type of schooling really. So whether it's in class or in the gym, let's try to endure mandatory education! ➤ 08. SURVIVAL HORROR: That old mansion/creepy town/underground science lab/zombie infested city ain't going to be survived by itself. Grab your medicinal herbs and shotguns, let's survive the horror. ➢ 09. WILDCARD: Let's make up shit.

[Her enthusiasm is infectious, and Michael can't help but grin wider as he watches her explain.]

I didn't know that.

[He had nothing against variety, but Iona seemed so courageous and bold about it. He's almost a little jealous.]

All right. I'll be the drink guinea pig if I lose. Or if I win. Either way, sounds like a winning situation for you. Sneaky.

[infusion]

Hehe. A witch needs to make sure that even if she loses, she still should win something.

... I might have just made that up, don't mind me.

[dilatory]

I wouldn't know one way or another. You're the first witch I've met, remember?

[He shifts in his seat a little, becoming more comfortable in the atmosphere.]

When'd you want to try your hand at this bet? I imagine you're busy with school and the cafe most of the time.

[infusion]

Hm. I gotta think about that... You're busy too though aren't you? And you'd have to start training so it can be a bit more fair.

That said an evening weekend might be ideal!

[dilatory]

I work freelance. My schedule is my own, just as long as I meet certain deadlines, so an evening weekend will be just fine.

[He shakes his head a little, though.] Are you really worried about it being fair? Should I reiterate that I can stop time? I think that makes us even.

[infusion]

Ooooh. When you mention it again like that, it makes me think you're really gonna win...

[And her pout is childish as she taps her toes trying to think up of a strategy ahead of time. It seems like she doesn't like losing in particular cases.]

[dilatory]

[He can't help but chuckle.]

Hey, don't worry... You've got until the weekend to figure something out, right?

[It's uncharacteristically confident for him to say such a thing, but the truth is that he's allowing himself to tease her just a bit. He doesn't have false confidence. He doesn't know a thing about magic, so he's half-expecting for her to surprise him. Thankfully, the losing part of the bet doesn't really sound that bad at all, so he's not concerned too much.]

[infusion]

We'll see! See you on the weekend then??

Oh, right. I kept talking so long, I need to get your drink first. And maybe something to eat.

[dilatory]

Sure... Saturday evening. I'll bring my "fighting" gear. [Can you hear the quotes? He doesn't have fighting gear. He has workout clothes he wears to the gym. That's as close as it gets.] Should we just meet here, or...?

[Michael had nearly forgotten about the drink and food, he had gotten so lost in the conversation.] Oh, right. Thanks.

[infusion]

[Iona's right on, it soon she returns from the kitchen with coffee, milk, and sugar, and a hot pressed sandwich.

Double that number actually. Iona sits down across from Michael and cheerfully states:]

I'm on break! So let's talk more, huh?

[It's good to be the boss]

[dilatory]

[He nods, smiling. Why not?]

Sure.

[But starting a conversation? Not always his strong point.]

Um. You start. Tell me more about yourself...?

((ooc; I totally created a journal for the "villain" in Michael's story, though they haven't met yet because woooo early timeline. Would you be interested in playing with him if I made a new comment??))

[infusion]

((ooc: Oh gosh, yes!! That sounds fun, I look forward to it!))

[Iona on the other hand has always been comfortable with talking, being outspoken and all.]

So let's see... I have a brother and grandma and the latter is the one who lets me use this place as a cafe. Grandma and Oren were the ones who discovered this space before I was born!

[dilatory]

((ooc; yay! I shall do so before I pop off to bed :D ))

[He's fine with her leading the conversation. He takes a bite of his food as she speaks, and when she's done:]

So magic runs in your family? Or is that a dumb question? I don't know anything about it, really, so...

[infusion]

[She gives a nod as confirmation.]

Yup, it's a passed down trait. And don't worry about it, I'm happy to explain as much as I can. This is a safe cafe after all.

For my family though, we're not very big. Grandma's been around for a while, but she never really thought about settling down and thinking about that whole legacy business.

[dilatory]

And what about your brother? And how's Oren related to all of this? A family friend?

[He remembers Oren from the day after he fainted. He didn't say much to Michael. Or anything at all, really.]

Brother's a warlock! His magic showed up early. He lives with a friend of his and they both renovate houses for a living.

As for Oren...

[infusion]

... Say. Did you think Oren was my boyfriend by any chance?

[dilatory]

[Errr... So even if it was (totally) what he had wondered, he hadn't been so bold as to ask in such a straightforward manner. It looks like Iona totally derailed that process though.

So, he's a little caught off-guard.]

What? I mean, uh--

[Awkward and flustered! And he was doing so good, too! Is he answer going to offend? Is she expecting a certain answer? Is this a trick question?]

I mean, maybe? Isn't he? Or... not? I figured someone like you would probably already have... one, uh. [SAY SOMETHING IONA SO HE DOESN'T HAVE TO KEEP GOING.] He seems pretty protective? [He's not sure if that counts as an answer???]

[infusion]

[Ah, this is so cute. That's what Iona's thinking anyway since she's the type of person who has a tendency to derail and surprise people with out of nowhere actions and statements like that. She gives him another few seconds to find his words before she clarifies with a bright smile.]

Not my boyfriend.

[dilatory]

Silence. He was expecting more than that. Why won't you let him escape his cage of awkwardness, cruel, cruel Warden Oakes?]

So, he's... a... [His mind searches for words.] ...friend?

[infusion]

[Because she likes watching him flop around, it's fascinating.]

Yup. Friend. Partner in crime and magic.

[A beat.]

He's what you would call a golem. My grandmother made him.

[dilatory]

[Does he look like a Magikarp like you?

Partner in crime and magic. So, like, a friendship and working relationship.]

Wait, I thought golems were made of stone? He looked human.

[infusion]

He actually is made out various earth materials. The way he looks is just a testament to my grandma's skills.

... And her taste in people now that I think about it...

[Iona, please don't derail again (but she has a point, Oren is really pretty)]

But yeah! Oren's important. He served Grandma first, but now he's mostly been helping me out with... Well, everything really.

[dilatory]

[Her grandmother's taste in people must be unnaturally pretty, if he correctly remembered what Oren looked like. He feels fine with commenting on it.]

So... unnaturally beautiful people? [He breathes out a laugh.] Are you sure there's a real human out there that looks like him?

[Still, must be nice to have a golem friend who can do all the heavy lifting for you, he thinks to himself. Because that's what golems were, right? Strong?]

[infusion]

If there is one, I haven't found them yet or they've yet to come to my cafe.

[She clenches her fist as determined.]
