[In the town of Blackgale, California again one teenage Korean American is sitting in the living room belonging to her mentor, the Emerald Witch. What is she doing this beautiful weekend?
Studying. Yawn. A bunch of magical tomes and spell books and a book on potion recipes are opened up around her along with sheets of notebook papers strewn around. Lucinda Chang, apprentice and heir of the Emerald Witch taps her chin with her right arm thoughtfully obviously drifting off from actually reading and getting any studying done...]
Okay so... I CAN make a computer appear out of nowhere, but it's not like it'll work. Oh, man I bet you could totally sell people fake computers made with magic and get a ton of money and--
Wait, that would get me arrested wouldn't it?
[Her right arm... Glows a bit. She blinks and examines said arm. She's been settling into the new arm nicely-- it looks the same, the outside feels the same and receives sensory details like her old arm did. But it seems to have picked up other tricks as well.]
Huh. Feels itchy all of a sudden. Wonder why?
[She shrugs and helps herself to a chocolate chip cookie. It's not like anything TOO weird was gonna happen immediately.]

Oh my GOSH! [To Dante] Okay, just... just step away from the property damage, put that sword away and-- [Huh.]
Is that a... demon? Um, okay maybe don't put away your sword uh... Oh, man what am I supposed to do?
no subject
[Is this the right time for innuendo? Better question: when isn't it the right time for innuendo?]
You could not tell your parents that you saw an utter badass with a really big sword crash through your roof? [IT'S WORTH A SHOT.]
no subject
I... Don't really have parents. I mean, I have a dad, but-- wait why am I telling you that? Anyways, if you know about demons I guess it's okay to tell you that--
... Where's my cookies?
no subject
[----Did he land on the cookies. Did he. No really did he, now he's checking to see if he did.]
no subject
[She sees the broken plate and several cookie pieces flung all around the room. She sighs and motions with her hand]
Okay, move over. Now. I'm fixing this.
no subject
[Points at the demon,] His fault, not mine. I wasn't the one being a squirrelly little bastard.
[Aaaand pulling his sword out and stepping out of the way now that he has that cleared up.] Alright kid, knock yourself out.
no subject
[Anyways, magic time. She takes a deep breath and stretches out her right arm-- it seems to glow lightly...
And in an instant the damage and mess has disappeared and the roof is back in place!
... Okay so there's still some holes, BUT SHE TRIED AND THE FLOOR IS MOSTLY CLEAN]
Oh, shoot. Still not that good... I'll just fix it up later.
no subject
... So, a witch, huh? Which witch am I talking to?
no subject
The witch you're talking to is named Lucinda. Lucinda Chang, witch in training!
... [Looks at the holes in the roof] I guess I didn't need to tell you about the 'in training' part though. Makes it less impressive. [Gee, you think]
no subject
Still not too shabby. And I bet it beats not being able to do it.
As for me, I'm a professional demon hunter. The name's Dante.
[... Wait, speaking of demons. Did she magic away his kill, too?]
no subject
Speaking of which... Uh oh, where'd I put it?!
no subject
What'd you do with it?
no subject
Oh, SHOOT it's going into the hallway! [And yes said demon has crawled away from the bickering duo]
Not good, not good, nooooot good!
no subject
[Oh there you are. Shoot? Don't mind if I do. Oh look! More holes for you to fix, Lucinda!]
no subject
Can you stop DOING that?! No guns! No more! And no sword either! [DEMON ESCAPING INTO THE HALLWAY TO HANG ONTO LIFE-- and Lucinda's running after it, oh dammit it's gotten pretty far]
no subject
[ffffff Dammit, CHASING!]
And another thing, what would you prefer: holes in the wall, or a demon in your house?! There isn't really any other options, here!
no subject
Oh, good it should get stuck in that room!
... I forgot what room that actually is, but all the same!
no subject
[SARCASM ASIDE, he'll be running for that door, Ebony and Ivory drawn. Hey, she didn't reply, and silence means consent!]
no subject
... huh that's not how physics work]
Seriously, no guns! I don't know if I could fix every single book by myself and my teacher is going to get really angry about this whole thing.
no subject
Signs of life being him putting E & I away and getting his sword back out.]
... Fine. No guns. But I'm not gonna take any negotiations on the sword until we've caught that thing again.
Interesting place you've got here, kid.
no subject
[Quiet for now 8|a]
no subject
[It always is. Demons watch first. Demons like to watch. Then they bust outta nowhere and stab you while you're trying to eat some pizza. They're jerks like that.]

Speaking of, got any lightning bolts or ice magic or something? Or are you just gonna kick back with some popcorn when we find it?
