More Crossover Continuity ⇒ Double Date, Double Trouble

[After a wild weekend in the town of Blackgale, specifically at Amelia's house, the witch spent most of her time smoothing things over with the questioning locals, grading all of her student's neglected essays, and trying to apologize to the talking cat commune for not warning them about the huge human gathering. It's tough being the only witch in town sometimes. She needed to relax. What does she plan?

Why, another trip to Las Vegas, Nevada of course! Well, it wasn't so much to enjoy the tempting offers of Sin City, but to visit the person Amelia was now comfortable calling a friend, the owner of the... interesting club, Griffonx. Madigan of course!

A quick magic teleportation and search for the hidden club later, Amelia opens up the door to the establishment, dressed casually.

It should be a normal day with nothing unexpected happening whatsoever...]

[Raises an eyebrow at Madigan. Ha HA.]

Interesting choice. It's been a while since I've been inside the palace anyways.

... Also, I do want to check the Bellagio for a fairly good reason and not just for the sights.

It sounds interesting. Does this king allow anyone to visit his palace?

Do you have business at this Bellagio place, Amelia?

Ah, already the palace is a good idea. [ she chuckles- she just likes messing with you boys, don't mind her ]

Yes, Amelia. Do tell.

[The idea of visiting a mortal palace intrigues Loki, and he won't argue against going.]

[However, he looks interested at what Amelia has to say, as well, and he waits for her to answer.]

There's something living in the fountains. A colleague of mine who lives around this area asked me to check it out while she was out of town and 'fix' things if necessary.

[She also wants cake from the pastry shop inside, but she's not going to say that aloud :V]

Other then that, we're good to go.

Then that's settled. We will visit the palace and the fountains.

[Hope you're ready to go now, because he is.]

I think fountains first, palace second. Business before pleasure.

Just give me a second to get things wrapped up here.

[ she comes out from behind the bar and heads up the stairs to the back, and eventually disappears from sight. She won't be long though. ]

[allfatherissues]

[Loki will just lean on the counter of the bar while they wait for her. He aims a question at Amelia, with a raised brow.]

'Something' in the fountains?

[recluserose]

[She casually brushes her hair behind her ear and says]

Sirens.

[mjolnir_time]

Perhaps we'll be able to assist you again.

[He's speaking to Amelia, but he keeps glancing at Loki.]

[griffonix]

[ Madigan comes bounding back down the stairs with her purse slung over one shoulder ]

You want to take a couple of boys to fight sirens?

[allfatherissues]

[Loki is aware of those glances, Thor, but he ignores them quite expertly.

He glances at Madigan coming down the stairs.]

You underestimate us. [And by 'us' he just means himself.]

Well, I'm not sure if a siren's allure could effect these two.

In any case, I never said it was a fight-- not unless they make it one. Besides, I'm not the one that goes to pick them.

[Not intentionally anyways]

As I recall, the last time we helped you was not intended to be a fight either. Perhaps you should tell us more about these sirens on the way, just in case?

[He offers his arm to Madigan.]

Shall we be on our way, ladies?

[griffonix]

[ She quirks an eyebrow at Amelia. Her allure at least effected Thor. You know, a little. ] We'll just have to see.

[ Ohoho. She takes that offered arm gladly. ]

I think we shall.

[allfatherissues]

[Loki simply straightens from his spot against the counter and fixes his collar somewhat.]

If these sirens dabble in magic, then I somehow doubt we have much reason to worry. [Again... that 'we' more implies 'him'.]

In any case, do lead the way.

They're not as unfriendly as you think. Just... A morbid sense of humor.

[Going to open the door now]

Then perhaps we will be able to conclude your business quickly and continue our tour.

[griffonix]

I hope so. I'm a lover, not a fighter.

[ and awaaaaaay into the street. The location of her club isn't static, it seems, since they're not too far from their destination. ]

[Loki follows, not exactly lagging but definitely at the tail end of the small group.]

Though I would not mind if they indulged us in this morbid sense of humor they possess. [He's interested, after all.]

If you want to on a swim with them, they'd be happy to drag any of us underwater. They can be rather eager.

[And since they're nearby, she's heading towards an inconspicuous area around the fountains where the four of them might start hearing an eerie, but hypnotizing sound akin to low humming]

[The fountains are quite impressive, especially for something of Midgard. Thor is distracted enough by that and all the people milling about that at first he doesn't register the sound.

He feels a bit confused for a moment, and he shakes his head slightly with a frown.]

[griffonix]

[ Lucky for Thor, Madigan's got her eyes on him- and not just because he's nice to look at. She can hear that sound too, and she wants to make sure it's not getting to them.

She frowns slightly ]

You okay?

[allfatherissues]

[The sound reaches Loki's ears as well, but this is the god who grew up learning all intricacies of magic, of various sorts. Though he feels the faint fluttering of effects that the sound would cause upon a lesser man, he easily ignores it, mentally waving it away for what it is.]

I take it we're getting closer.

[recluserose]

[Amelia waves a finger and magically shields the four of them and a large area of the fountain where the humming is coming from, from normal eyes. They won't be noticed at least. She's leaning over and frowning into the water.]

Alright girls, it's me. Fiona sent me and she says you haven't been behaving lately.

[The low pleasant humming suddenly lowers even more into a whisper almost caressing. Amelia responds as if she can understand it, rolling her eyes]

Fine, just one of you is enough. This is important though and don't even try your songs on these guys while I'm around.

[And from the water a head pops out-- or well, someone's head that looks like the water itself including white glassy eyes. A female figure that looks like it's made of the water emerges and uses a spout of water to reach their level.

It coos and hums curiously, looking particularly interested in Loki and Thor]
