This a post where I'll RP anything with you and that means ANYTHING. Except smut because I suck at that Got a scenario in mind? I'LL DO IT. Here's some prompts below to help get things moving along if you don't have an idea to play out. The prompts are just prompts, if you have something specific, just let me know either at sweethymns or my AIM (rainsweets). Have at it! ➢ 01. AMUSEMENT PARK: Disneyland? Knotts Berry Farm? Six Flags? A made up amusement park with knockoff characters? Who cares, let's just ride that roller coaster or that giant swing ride! ➤ 02. PARK: Benches, trees, grass, maybe a lake and a basketball or volleyball court. ➢ 03. SNOWY DAY: Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful... or the level of snowfall can be any you wish! Light or heavy, there's going to be some winter related activities somewhere. ➤ 04. DINER: I love food, I really, really, really love food. And so do muses if they like to eat too! This diner seems to have a very HUGE menu with a large variety of dishes! Let's bond over food stuffs! ➢ 05. SICK DAY: Either your muse or my muse is sick. Who's taking care of who? ➤ 06. SEVEN MINUTES IN HEAVEN: Our characters are stuck in a closet and can't get out until there is some kissing, so they better make good use of those seven minutes... DON'T YOU DARE JUDGE ME. ➢ 07. SCHOOL: High school never ends! Or any type of schooling really. So whether it's in class or in the gym, let's try to endure mandatory education! ➤ 08. SURVIVAL HORROR: That old mansion/creepy town/underground science lab/zombie infested city ain't going to be survived by itself. Grab your medicinal herbs and shotguns, let's survive the horror. ➢ 09. WILDCARD: Let's make up shit.

Oh, there's no need to go through all that trouble!

[She notices the similarities with the previous customer she had and then there's also the French... Well, maybe she won't make assumptions just yet. (Although Iona wonders what's keeping the door located in 1879 Paris to begin with.)

Wow, is she getting flustered by his insistence though.]

I mean, it's my job to take care of small things like this while letting you enjoy what we serve here!

[ The goofy grin stays, peeks out from under his fluffy white towel, even as he makes his concession. ]

Alright, alright, I'm not here to make trouble! ...Yet.

[ And there he is, showing teeth like a little kid. ]

If you give me your name, I'll behave for at least 5 minutes.

[infusion]

Only 5? [She crosses her arms and shakes her head in mock condescension. It's all in good fun!]

Make it 10, and I'll consider it.

[effet]

10... Will I be able to make it?! Give me strength...

[ There's also a healthy amount of mock despair here. ]

—Alright, you drive a hard bargain! 10 it is, no more and no less!

[infusion]

Good! 10 minutes is just enough to make a great cup of coffee anyways.

[She smiles and returns to her place behind the counter.]

It'll be worth it, promise.

[effet]

[ He melts... he's so easy. He's snagged himself a table where he can see her very well from his vantage point, and he droops onto the surface of lacquered wood like a big blond puddle. ]

It's already worth it, from where I'm sitting...

[infusion]

[Ah, so that kind of kind of guy huh...? Iona's more amused than annoyed though; in fact, the cheerfulness was kind of charming in its own way!

"I've a feeling you'd like him— everyone does."

Was that what he was talking about? In any case, the coffee is done and handed over to her on a tray with the usual milk and sugar on the side. After a moment of deliberation and much to Oren's irritation, she adds two macarons, one mint green and the other chestnut flavored.

She brings out the tray, placing it in front of Gus, being careful not to spill. It's a good thing she practiced this a lot!]

Here you are! One coffee.

Ah, since this is your first time at this cafe, your first drink and the treats are on the house! Please enjoy yourself.

[effet]

[ When Iona comes back, Gus is at work fixing something that looks very much like a strange, antique Bluetooth device...

...which he quickly pockets once she comes out of the counter, craning his neck at the cute macarons that've come with his coffee. Score?! ]

Ohhh, this is dangerous?! Don't you know that the fastest way to a man's heart is through his stomach?!

[ He's very visibly thrilled... ]

But now you have to give me a name!

[infusion]

Ah, so you've realized my intentions behind this cafe already? I'm going to trap as many people as I can!

[She only caught a glimpse of the device (did they have those in 1879??), but doesn't mention it.]

Well, since you waited so patiently... Iona Jacqueline Oakes. It's nice to make your acquaintance, Gus.

[effet]

[ He looks so pleased with himself that she's playing along, and that she's given him a name: small victories. A macaron disappears behind grinning lips, and Gus melts a second time— noodling onto his table exaggeratedly— speaking through a full mouth. ]

Iona...! A name as sweet as this macaron, goddamn.

[ Oops, he slipped and fell into his crassness. He doesn't care. ]

[infusion]

You think so? My grandmother chose my name rather randomly so it's a bit out there, even for me.

[Ah, she should gather her books and notes and so she does at the counter (of course she chooses the class with a lot of reading, sigh)]

Glad the macarons taste good to you too!

[effet]

Your grandmother's probably just as pretty as you are: tell her I said that! From Gus to her, put a kiss on it.

[ Ah, this coffee is great...just what he needed. He's already warming up, so he rolls his wet sleeves up over his forearms, revealing a mess of bruises and scrapes. Obviously he's not a very indoors guy. ]

[infusion]

Ah... Ha. Ha. [The laugh is weak with this one because Gus dear, you have NO idea...]

I wouldn't compliment her TOO freely. [Berna would gush and try to gobble him up and just... Grandma, don't, just because you LOOK young doesn't mean shit...!!

Shuddering off the thought, the sight of his bruised and damaged arms gives Iona a cause for concern.]

Oh gosh, how'd those get beat up?? Are you gonna need first aid??

[effet]

[ The disaster that would happen if you put him in a room with Iona's grandmother, probably...

He goes from exuberant to slightly sheepish (clearly someone forgot his family rule no. 1, "never let them see you sweat"), rubbing a red-purple mark on his elbow with slight trepidation. ]

Ahh, it's just from... y'know. Sometimes a guy just. Falls off roofs?

[ You know, like you do. Aspiring Paris faction boss by day, kind-of Robin Hood by night. ]

[If you could hear a person's neck turn, Oren's would be slow, deliberate, and heavy. He's been hearing this young man's words. He's been tolerating it. Honestly, it's foolish, but it just has not stopped and good god what kind of human can live with that sort of talk...

Yeah, some bad vibes coming from the kitchen, but he's staying where he is because he's gotta keep an eye on the snickerdoodles.]

[Iona here is none the wiser and just waves off the last part like it ain't no thing because it isn't. She's done her fair share of flirting even although with significantly less cheese.]

I have a feeling there's more to that then just falling off of a roof which... I would imagine would do a whole other number on the rest of you. Hell, I'm surprised you're alive enough to find my cafe in the middle of the rain.

Guess you're the lucky type then?

Luck? —Nah, you just have to know which roofs you can fall off of.

[ There's a bit of shrewdness there, as if he's in on a little secret, but it comes and goes. Despite majoring in idiocy 90% of the time, he's not a complete bozo— it's the reason he hasn't buckled, all things considered. ]

If push comes to shove, I have a doctor in the family, too! It's not actually as great as it sounds, though, let me tell you.

[infusion]

[Ah. That cinches it then.]

Family doctor, huh? What makes you say the last part though? I'd imagine he'd have to be good at what he does to be employed like that.

[effet]

[ Gus is 100% serious about balling his hands into fists and quivering like a chihuahua. ]

He always looks too happy about giving me shots...!!

[ ah... ]

He seems like he cares... Too much...

Like, how many shots do you actually need though, or is he the kind that makes up an excuse to shoot you up?

[He can't be that twisted right...]

Painkillers, on occasion? He also likes to bandage me up a little too tight, I can feel his passive-aggression through the process...!!

[ That comes with a whole other set of figurative needling, which Gus shudders about. ]

I can appreciate wanting to like what you do, but sometimes... sometimes...

[infusion]

The passive aggression could probably be because you give him so much work.

[She laughs, shaking her head.]

But hey, maybe it's meant to be? You got roughed up and it led you to my humble abode. That's what I call a chance meeting. ♥

[effet]

[ Noooo don't do this!!! He falls for it, hook, line, and sinker, and drapes himself over the surface of his table again. ]

Yeah? Maybe I'll go get beat up again tomorrow night...

[infusion]

[this just means repeat paying customer yay]

[ He'll pay in bad jokes and worse flirting. ]

There are some storms I'll willingly weather for a cute girl and a great cup of coffee, but fine. I just can't say no to that face ♥
