This a post where I'll RP anything with you and that means ANYTHING. Except smut because I suck at that Got a scenario in mind? I'LL DO IT. Here's some prompts below to help get things moving along if you don't have an idea to play out. The prompts are just prompts, if you have something specific, just let me know either at sweethymns or my AIM (rainsweets). Have at it! ➢ 01. AMUSEMENT PARK: Disneyland? Knotts Berry Farm? Six Flags? A made up amusement park with knockoff characters? Who cares, let's just ride that roller coaster or that giant swing ride! ➤ 02. PARK: Benches, trees, grass, maybe a lake and a basketball or volleyball court. ➢ 03. SNOWY DAY: Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful... or the level of snowfall can be any you wish! Light or heavy, there's going to be some winter related activities somewhere. ➤ 04. DINER: I love food, I really, really, really love food. And so do muses if they like to eat too! This diner seems to have a very HUGE menu with a large variety of dishes! Let's bond over food stuffs! ➢ 05. SICK DAY: Either your muse or my muse is sick. Who's taking care of who? ➤ 06. SEVEN MINUTES IN HEAVEN: Our characters are stuck in a closet and can't get out until there is some kissing, so they better make good use of those seven minutes... DON'T YOU DARE JUDGE ME. ➢ 07. SCHOOL: High school never ends! Or any type of schooling really. So whether it's in class or in the gym, let's try to endure mandatory education! ➤ 08. SURVIVAL HORROR: That old mansion/creepy town/underground science lab/zombie infested city ain't going to be survived by itself. Grab your medicinal herbs and shotguns, let's survive the horror. ➢ 09. WILDCARD: Let's make up shit.

[She raises a brow and powers off her phone.]

[ He holds one of the headphones up to his ear as he fast forwards through the tape before stopping and looking pleased. Peter puts the headphones over her ears before hitting play. ]

Start off easy: "Moonage Daydream" by David Bowie. Released 1972 on The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars.

Oh, it's on "Star-Lord."

[She totally does the quote finger motions, but she takes a few seconds to listen. The sound of David Bowie's unique inflections and voice brings a smile to her face.]

Geez, I haven't heard this song in forever.

[ He takes a moment to look wounded at her air quotes, but he returns her smile as she's listening. ]

It's a classic, Mills. You'll be hard pressed to find anything that'll beat that.

Mm. Yeah, David Bowie's kind of a hard guy to beat, but then again he's always been his own thing mostly.

But c'mon give my playlist a chance, will you?

[She takes out her phone and a pair of earbuds and starts scrolling through her music collection.]

I got some stuff you'll probably recognize. The 80's had really great rock. But you give me a Bowie, I raise you...

[Ah, she's found it. Abbie puts one ear bud into his ear.]

[ He gives an over-exaggerated sigh as he lets her put in the earbud. At first he's determined to look grim-faced and stoic the whole time, but he can't help it when he starts tapping a finger on the bartop in time with the music.

Damn. He likes it. ]

Alright, I'll grudgingly admit-- that wasn't terrible.

"Wasn't terrible?" Fine, I'll take it, but that girl can belt out notes like no one's business, you have to admit that at least.

[ He splutters, a hand going to his chest, and oh, he looks so scandalized. ] Old gu-- old guard?! How dare you, madame.

[Ahhh, another classic. Abbie taps her foot, clearly enjoying it.]

Shaping up to be a pretty tough mix, Quill.

Well you gave me a Cherry Bomb, but what do you think of "Maneater" by Nelly Furtado, 2006?

Good taste in music is a genetic trait passed on in the Quill family.

[ His turn to listen again -- and at first, he's not sure if he likes it. As the song goes, on though, it grows on him, and-- crap, he likes this one too. ]

... Alright, Mills. I'll grant that you have a decent taste in music so far.

[She kinda has to laugh at how he's giving her credit for her taste.]

Just so you know, just because I happen to have enjoyable music, it doesn't make your list any less fun. Heck, I think people need to listen to older music every once in a while!

[ He huffs a laugh too, leaning back in his seat a little. Finally he grabs a few of the blue fries, nearly forgotten in the whole music battle, and munches on them thoughtfully. ]

Alright, well, I guess I'll have to admit that I may have missed some good songs while I've been away from Earth, and I may need to catch up one of these days.

Do it, it'll be SO worth it. Just means, there's more songs to listen to in your spaceship!

[She'll be nabbing a few of the blue fries, thanks. Huh, tastier than she thought. And she wants to share one more song actually.]

We've been sharing some high energy songs, but I think you'll find this one interesting. To be honest, it's a little cheesy, but it's soothing.

[ He listens to it for a moment before tossing a smirk her way. ] You weren't kidding about it being cheesy.

[ Still, it's catchy and, if he dares to admit it, cute, and he listens to it all the way through with a small smile. ]

One-for-one, then. Slower song for a slower song. [ He's rewinding through his tape again, and he stops it thoughtfully. He hands the headphones back over while this plays.]

Huh. [She listens since she isn't familiar with this particular track. But it's good. REAL good.]

I could sleep to this. I mean that in a good way of course.

That being said, I should share the songs from your mix with a friend of mine back home.

[She hasn't really pulled Ichabod into the foray of modern music since... Well, unlike Peter, he has a few centuries to catch up with.]

[ He seems pleased that she likes the song – it was one of his mom’s topmost favorites, and by extension, one of his. ]

[ He holds up his hands briefly, clearly saying, “I surrender.” ]

So, your friend sufferin’ from fish-out-of-water syndrome, or just bad taste?

Not sure about how his taste actually shapes up. All he needs is to play catch up and he'll get used to it.

Oh? And how many years of catch-up does he have to play? I’m thinkin’ 26 years is gonna be pretty hard to beat.

[ He’s about to laugh, but the look on her face stops him short. ]

Wait– you’re not kidding, are you?

[She's just gonna take a long drink and give him a few seconds to let it sink in.]

[ He just watches her, his face blank, and it’s a bit like he’s sizing her up. He hasn’t known her long, and although she’s joked around with him already, he gets the impression that she’s very much a no-nonsense type of person.

Peter comes to the following conclusion: she’s completely and utterly serious.

And this time, he lets a short, incredulous bark of a laugh slip through. ]

And I thought I had it bad. Where’d you dig him up from?

More like he dug himself out in a manner of speaking. But yeah, long story short, man from the late 1700s is living in a cabin in the woods in the year of our lord 2013, soon to be 2014.
