Aside from the minor differences of dress and perhaps body language, everything else is there; slender form, long dark hair, and the same strange, clear-blue eyes.

[Well, she can stand up for herself when it's important. But then she senses another presence and a minute echo of prana being used and she looks up towards the top floors, feeling her denial crumbling...]

[ It's a bit of a challenge to the other man, but there's also a vague sense of familiarity that starts settling in: the blue suit, the blood-red spear, the insistence towards a one-on-one.

But that's impossible. For every war, there's only one of each class. ]

[She still doesn't want to jump to any conclusions. If what she was fearing was true and the other Servant was implying... But if it's true, then why? Why would she? She wouldn't want to have anything to do with a War of this multitude or with magic in general. What changed since the last time they saw each other?

[ Cu racks his mind for references, of who the other Servant could be; thankfully, he's up to date on a lot of spearmen, especially from his native country. Twin lances, gold and red, that face...

He has a good idea of who he's talking to now, but he ignores that for the moment, giving what he could effectively call his "junior" a light half-grin. ]

You two are ready for a fight, I like it. But to answer your question, my Master's...

[ ...what is Lien doing, anyway? He glances up, and shrugs. ]

... Great!! Glad there are spells that are worth keeping around.

[On the upper floor, Lien's successfully healed her shoulder. Eh, there's a mark, but that's what long sleeves are for. She glances every so often at the children to make sure they're asleep. As long as they rest, their prana should slowly recover over the next few days, she figures.

Then she hears a groan. Outside? Wait. No. In the room... In the SAME room...]

[The strike and the sound of a groaning man can be heard throughout the building and the shouting of a young woman also echoes throughout the area.]

The distraction has Diarmuid blink and look up towards that hole in the ceiling, slightly...dubious.

[ The interruption aside, Diarmuid snaps out of it enough to notice that there's something...wrong... with how his Master is reacting to all of this, though that's not to say that he wants her to panic, or be angry, or whatever else the situation may call for.

Is she...embarrassed? Another blink, and he glances at Ai Thao, momentarily breaking focus. ]

[Lien stands up carefully, making her way over to the hole made by Lancer so she can look down and call for her Servant.]

What, no one to fight? Well, then let's just take the kids down and call it a... day...

[ He has a feeling that they're not going to be fighting— the denotation as sisters confirms that suspicion, so he lowers his lance. There's something he wants to clear up about this, anyway. ]

Looks like your sister's a Master too, by the way.

[Ai Thao looks as if she doesn't know whether to be angry or to start crying. At any rate, she bunches up her fists and shouts back at her twin sister.]

[She's really, really, upset. So much for thinking it was her sister who would have been angry!]

[ This is decidedly not the air of a battlefield now, so down goes his weapons and away goes Diarmuid's stance, replaced instead by a slight quirk of the lips and a somewhat prevailing sense of light exasperation. ]

Our fight will have to be at a later date.

[ He says, to Cu, not that he thinks they'll get the opportunity anytime soon. ]

Lien sighs although it's not without amusement.]

[Ladies and gentlemen, the Master of the Year!! Her hair is mussed up slightly and her clothes are a bit of a mess, but she was able to find her other glove. And now that they're facing each other, the two Masters when next to each other are eerily alike, if not for the difference in attitude and the current atmosphere. She beams at her twin and then the Servant next to her....

[ It clicks: what Ai Thao said about her sister, her trepidation about seeing her. He sees the resemblance, of course, and there's no doubt as to whether or not he should insist about doing his Knight's duty. Now isn't the time.

So he takes a step back, thankfully casting his face in the shadows, and bows his head. ]

If you need a moment, Master, I won't interrupt.

[She holds up a hand to indicate that he can stay where he is. Anyways!]

Why... Why are you here? And when did you contract the Servant? You of all people should know what it means! Lien, you're not ignorant of these matters even though you try to be--

[She falls silent when Lien suddenly holds up one finger. Looks like there is some authority with the elder despite the difference in personality.]

[ Cu looks a little bored by the whole ordeal— wasted opportunity for a fight— and he settles against the nearest wall, tapping a foot in time to the conversation. Be that as it may, he's not without his own sense of alertness, and he spares a few glances at the other Servant in case he makes a false move. He doesn't seem the type to, though (stupidly earnest). ]

[She got her sister to settle down. Good. Lien then points to the floor where she came from.]

[There's a light of realization that appears in her younger sister's eyes. A very visual, "Oh!" sort of moment. There's a sort of understanding that forms without words, one that is formed by not only blood, but through shared hardship.]

I was going to have my Servant bring them down to the ground floor. The elevators aren't working and we made a mess of the place. But, since you're here... [She makes a head gesture, acknowledging Diarmuid.]

Could you have him help out too?

[ Siblings as they may be, Diarmuid is only prepared to take commands from one person— his Master— and so he glances at Lien for only a moment before deferring his attention back towards Ai Thao, silently waiting for her to come to a decision about the matter and instruct him accordingly. ]

... [Ai turns to Diarmuid giving him an affirmative nod.]

Please go check the floor to see what she said was true. If so, start bringing them down to safety.

[The hard edge of her voice has softened and she even looks a little humbled.

No matter what her reasons were (and she had a damning feeling that it was also unwitting or spontaneous), Lien was still herself- she'd take responsibility when it mattered.]

[ A soft laugh, and Cu gestures for Diarmuid to follow him. Both of them are abundantly aware that this isn't a trap, so the motion is made with an air of amiability. ]

[ He says, to which Diarmuid looks mildly dubious before following the man in blue up and through the ceiling, towards the kids. ]

[Lien watches the two Servants leaping up and lets out a low whistle.]

[Her sister is silent. And... pouting? Lien grins.]

You were ready to get all serious weren't you? Ah, well. I guess you're not surprised, after seeing the news and all.
