More Crossover Continuity ⇒ Double Date, Double Trouble

[After a wild weekend in the town of Blackgale, specifically at Amelia's house, the witch spent most of her time smoothing things over with the questioning locals, grading all of her student's neglected essays, and trying to apologize to the talking cat commune for not warning them about the huge human gathering. It's tough being the only witch in town sometimes. She needed to relax. What does she plan?

Why, another trip to Las Vegas, Nevada of course! Well, it wasn't so much to enjoy the tempting offers of Sin City, but to visit the person Amelia was now comfortable calling a friend, the owner of the... interesting club, Griffonx. Madigan of course!

A quick magic teleportation and search for the hidden club later, Amelia opens up the door to the establishment, dressed casually.

It should be a normal day with nothing unexpected happening whatsoever...]

[Thor isn't exactly pleased about Loki tagging along, but he isn't going to say anything about it.]

[ LOKI THAT WASN'T WHAT SHE MEANT BY BEING CREEPY. This whole situation has "disaster" written all over it, but she manages a smile. ]

[WELL, IF YOU THINK LOKI IS GOING TO CHANGE MUCH OF HIS CHARACTER FOR THIS LITTLE SIGHT-SEEING TRIP, THEN YOU'D BE VERY DISAPPOINTED.

In any case, he simply approaches closer with something of a casual smile.] And where shall we head first? What spectacular sights does Midgard have to offer us?

There's plenty to do if you want to burn your money at least... Maybe the gardens at the Bellagio...? It's up to you though Madigan.

[Yes, definitely will be keeping an eye on Loki.]

... I have no money, but why would anyone wish to burn it?

To burn money means to spend it wastefully, Thor.

And the gardens would be a good place to start, but I have a strong sense of irony, so we definitely have to hit up Caesar's Palace at some point.

[Loki somehow manages to not say something demeaning to Thor, concerning his obliviousness. Good job, Loki!]

[But he does laugh a little at Madigan's suggestion.] A palace? It will have to be quite the sight to impress us.

[Since, you know. Grew up in a palace themselves, here.]

[Raises an eyebrow at Madigan. Ha HA.]

Interesting choice. It's been a while since I've been inside the palace anyways.

... Also, I do want to check the Bellagio for a fairly good reason and not just for the sights.

It sounds interesting. Does this king allow anyone to visit his palace?

Do you have business at this Bellagio place, Amelia?

Ah, already the palace is a good idea. [ she chuckles- she just likes messing with you boys, don't mind her ]

[The idea of visiting a mortal palace intrigues Loki, and he won't argue against going.]

[However, he looks interested at what Amelia has to say, as well, and he waits for her to answer.]

There's something living in the fountains. A colleague of mine who lives around this area asked me to check it out while she was out of town and 'fix' things if necessary.

[She also wants cake from the pastry shop inside, but she's not going to say that aloud :V]

Other then that, we're good to go.

Then that's settled. We will visit the palace and the fountains.

[ she comes out from behind the bar and heads up the stairs to the back, and eventually disappears from sight. She won't be long though. ]

[Loki will just lean on the counter of the bar while they wait for her. He aims a question at Amelia, with a raised brow.]

'Something' in the fountains?

[She casually brushes her hair behind her ear and says]

Sirens.

Perhaps we'll be able to assist you again.

[He's speaking to Amelia, but he keeps glancing at Loki.]

[ Madigan comes bounding back down the stairs with her purse slung over one shoulder ]

You want to take a couple of boys to fight sirens?

[allfatherissues]

[Loki is aware of those glances, Thor, but he ignores them quite expertly.

He glances at Madigan coming down the stairs.]

You underestimate us. [And by 'us' he just means himself.]

Well, I'm not sure if a siren's allure could effect these two.

In any case, I never said it was a fight-- not unless they make it one. Besides, I'm not the one that goes to pick them.

[Not intentionally anyways]

As I recall, the last time we helped you was not intended to be a fight either. Perhaps you should tell us more about these sirens on the way, just in case?

[He offers his arm to Madigan.]

Shall we be on our way, ladies?

[griffonix]

[ She quirks an eyebrow at Amelia. Her allure at least effected Thor. You know, a little. ] We'll just have to see.

[ Ohoho. She takes that offered arm gladly. ]

I think we shall.

[allfatherissues]

[Loki simply straightens from his spot against the counter and fixes his collar somewhat.]

If these sirens dabble in magic, then I somehow doubt we have much reason to worry. [Again... that 'we' more implies 'him'.]

In any case, do lead the way.

They're not as unfriendly as you think. Just... A morbid sense of humor.

[Going to open the door now]
