And on the back of it?? Command Spells.]

[He impulsively grabs at her hand to get a closer look, but the shock of prana makes him take his hands back in a hurry.
Still, there is no mistaking it- they are Command Spells.
His second reaction is to look around, as if her Servant would suddenly materialize. Realizing that's not going to happen, he looks at Lien again.]
What?! The War is over, so- [his eyes narrow] just when are you from? [
You look good for being over 60?]no subject
YOU'RE GONNA BE THE ONE WHO'S OLD SHE'S A BABBY COMPARED TO YOU!!!Lien jerks back as Waver tries to grab her hand and she gives him a quick glare before covering her hand again.]2004.
Ten years in the future.

[Disoriented as he his, his eyes still drift in the direction of Fuyuki, where there is a vast stretch of scorched earth. Did something go so horribly wrong at the last battle that it affected the Grail itself?]
...
This is crazy. But fine, okay. What do you know about the end of the Fourth Holy Grail War?
no subject
And here am I talking to someone from ten years ago. Funny how that works, right?
[She sighs heavily.]
As for the Fourth War, I know that no one won. My sister and I were... taken in around the time it ended. [She doesn't want to say "rescued."]
Our benefactors mentioned it several times which is why I even knew about it in the first place.

Waver rubs his hands through his hair, trying to make sense of it.]
Urg. 'Highly irregular' is right.
[A shame she doesn't know more history about the end of the War, but he supposes that can't be helped.
As a distraction from thinking about the serious stuff he goes for a relatively random question,]
Out of curiosity, which Servant did you pull, and what do they look like?
[It would be interesting if the Grail called the exact same Servants up again as another irregularity.]
no subject
[A beat.]
I didn't really "pull" him as much as kinda found him.
[Another pause.]
And then he followed me home.
no subject
Well, no, not anymore. And maybe it's a different spirit anyways.]
...
'Kinda' found him? 'Followed you home'? Is your heroic spirit a dog?
[ (If the Servant really was around for that, Waver might have found himself facing the point of a spear...) ]
no subject
In any case, I didn't do a fancy ritual to summon anything. Heroic Spirits are being drawn into the city somehow and not all of them have Masters. I sensed his presence before I even figured there was a War going on and he and I just agreed to make a pact.
no subject
[He shakes his head again. It sounds really really unusual.]
Hey, before you get sidetracked again, what does your Lancer look like?
no subject
no subject
And?
no subject
[She's doing this on purpose... the purpose of being annoying...]
no subject
That would be Berserker then.
no subject
He's a red-eyed warrior with blue hair and his lance is red. His armor is blue and silver.
... I got separated from him when I entered the forest. I'm trying to find him again.
no subject
Okay, he's not the same one that was in my War then. I was curious if the Grail was summoning the exact same servants as the Fourth War as another irregularity. Have you come across any other Masters or Servants?
no subject
... Well. The irregular part is that instead of just the seven classes, it's possible to have Servants who are of the same class.
... Say, who was the Lancer in the Fourth War?
no subject
That's so irregular, it doesn't sound like a Heaven's Feel at all.
Mm. As for that Lancer... [He looks off into the forest as he brings up his recollections. He's tempted to fight back with 'he was tall', but again decides to be the better person here.]
I don't think Rider ever figured out his true name at the time, but I did some research afterwards. I think it was Diarmuid Ua Duibhne, a spirit from Celtic mythology. He wielded two spears, a long red one and a short golden one, and was full of chivalry. He was also tall, with messy black hair, and had a cursed love spot under his eye.
His Master was that prominent person from the Clock Tower I mentioned earlier.

Well excuse me? What's with that reaction now?
no subject
No, in fact, it's the same guy. You literally just described Diarmuid down to a tee.
[She groans into her hands.]
What did we get ourselves into, good GOD...
no subject
Geez, what did you get yourselves into? From what you've described, it's not at all like a regular Grail War.
...I wonder if Lancer has memories from the Fourth War and would recognize me.
