More Crossover Continuity ⇒ Double Date, Double Trouble

[After a wild weekend in the town of Blackgale, specifically at Amelia's house, the witch spent most of her time smoothing things over with the questioning locals, grading all of her student's neglected essays, and trying to apologize to the talking cat commune for not warning them about the huge human gathering. It's tough being the only witch in town sometimes. She needed to relax. What does she plan?

Why, another trip to Las Vegas, Nevada of course! Well, it wasn't so much to enjoy the tempting offers of Sin City, but to visit the person Amelia was now comfortable calling a friend, the owner of the... interesting club, Griffonx. Madigan of course!

A quick magic teleportation and search for the hidden club later, Amelia opens up the door to the establishment, dressed casually.

It should be a normal day with nothing unexpected happening whatsoever...]

[ Aww. She grins. ] I suppose that depends on who you are.

[NOT HER. But gotta keep cool, she is the Emerald Witch, demons, vampires, and other magic users FEAR HER.

This is perfect! Amelia has the rest of the day off, you're here. I say we have a night out on the town.

[Wait when did she agree--- Oh what the hell, it's Thor and Madigan, and she liked them both! They never irritated her.]

Well, as long as we're both here and we know the city well enough- Madigan more than me- it should prove to be interesting.

An evening with two lovely ladies? That is an excellent suggestion. Where shall we go first?

Hmm. I haven't done the tourist thing in ages. I suppose we could always take a walk down the strip and see if anything interesting pops up.

[allfatherissues]

[Something moves in the shadows at the far end of the room, coupled with a familiar voice permeating the air.]

Oh, are we going sight-seeing, then?

[And Loki steps forward, seeming to materialize out of nowhere. He's dressed in clothing fitting for one on Midgard (green dress shirt, nice slacks) and he grins mischievously at two ladies before him. If he's pointedly ignoring Thor's gaze for now, who would fault him for it?]

Surely you have room for one more.

[Amelia was just taking another drink of soda and MORE CHOKING.]

[Thor looks surprised for a moment, then he lets his expression go blank. This is not the time or place to continue their quarrels.

He says nothing for now.]

[griffonix]

Wait, wait. Loki as in--? [ She looks at Thor, then at Loki. Yeeeah, she's guess it's that Loki. ]

How long were you even-- Oh my god, were you listening to me talk about banging your brother?

I've been here as long as Amelia has. [Does that answer your question, Amelia?] So quite unfortunately - [NOW he allows himself a pointed glance at Thor, sardonic and badgering.]

[Cautiously glancing between Thor and Loki you two better not start anything--]

[Thor gives Loki a brief nod.]

[ she looks between the two, then at Amelia and back, frowning ]

Okay boys, I don't know what's going on, but fair warning- gods or no, my wards will fuck you up, so don't try anything. That goes- [ she jabs a finger at one, then the other ] -for both of you.

Better than stomping about like an over-sized Jotun with no sense of subtlety, Thor. [Ball in your court - he dares you to bring up the subject of Jotuns and what that might entail while in mixed company.

But that bitter knowing grin is soon wiped away when he turns his attention to Madigan. Despite the warning, he doesn't sound too bothered.] I would not think of causing trouble; that is not why I am here. I simply wish to spend more time with a friend of mine.

[Isn't that right Amelia]

[Oi B| She crosses her arms letting out a sigh]

You could have asked before I went all the way out to Vegas to visit Madigan instead... And now you're both in each other's faces again.

Don't worry Madigan, they won't start anything. Isn't that right both of you?

[Dangerous edge to her voice there boys]

[Loki gets a glare, but then Thor smiles for Amelia and Madigan.]

You need not worry on my account. I would never be so poor a guest as to cause trouble for my hostess.

[Unlike some people, who shall remain nameless but like to spike the punch at parties.]

[griffonix]

As for you-- [ her gaze snaps to Loki again ] --I get the feeling you'd follow us even if we told you to get lost, so you might as well come long. Just dial down the creepy stalker thing you have going on, okay?

As I said, I'm not here to start any quarrels. [...Maybe. Yet. Depends on how nice he feels like being to his brother. To Madigan:] Very well - no magic for the sake of being unseen by others. A simple enough task.

Vegas is a popular city. It's still midday, but come evening when the crowds increase, you two really have to tone down... Anything you usually do when I'm not around to see it.

I suppose Madigan will be leading us around then?

[mjolnir_time]

[Thor isn't exactly pleased about Loki tagging along, but he isn't going to say anything about it.]

What say you, Madigan? Will you be our guide?

[griffonix]

[ LOKI THAT WASN'T WHAT SHE MEANT BY BEING CREEPY. This whole situation has "disaster" written all over it, but she manages a smile. ]

[WELL, IF YOU THINK LOKI IS GOING TO CHANGE MUCH OF HIS CHARACTER FOR THIS LITTLE SIGHT-SEEING TRIP, THEN YOU'D BE VERY DISAPPOINTED.

In any case, he simply approaches closer with something of a casual smile.] And where shall we head first? What spectacular sights does Midgard have to offer us?

There's plenty to do if you want to burn your money at least... Maybe the gardens at the Bellagio...? It's up to you though Madigan.
