Alright! Sounds agreeable.

[She stands up to move closer to Noctis, carefully, CAREFULLY, taking off the duct tape that's keeping the towel in place. And while she helps him, Arcueid just begins to idly chat as if she wasn't really doing anything out of the ordinary.]

It doesn't seem like you live nearby. When I saw you it's like you appeared out of thin air!

[He's frowning, trying to lift his arm up so that she can access it better. He ignores the fact that it feels stiff and sore all at once, and he responds only a moment or two after, keeping it still as possible.]

That has to do with my first question. Which was going to be something along the lines of "where am I"?

Oh, that's the million dollar question isn't it?

[Arcueid continues to work carefully, taking out the bandages from the bag and unraveling them. She starts rolling it around his arm before answering.]

Right now, you're in a city called Misaki located on the island country of Japan, that's part of the East Asian continent in the Pacific Ocean on planet Earth.

Is that specific enough or should I continue? I'm very happy to if you want!

[Or she might just like talking, that too.]

[Okay wait. What.]

Is this some kind of joke-

[He moves his arm out of surprise, and the pain that shoots through him cuts him off, with a sharp "ow!" escaping him. He curses under his breath.]

I've never heard of any of those places!

[Just where exactly did he end up? And just by warping, something that he did everyday? Gods above, was this some dream, or was he being toyed with?]

[The vampire shakes her head, sighing at him.]

Thought so though. This is totally out of my range, even for someone like me.

[He gives her a look, but tries to keep his arm still, despite the confusion threatening to settle in again.]

And what's that supposed to mean? Are you saying you can't help me get back to Eos? You were there when I arrived.

[Said as if the two have anything to do with each other.]

That's what they call a coincidence, silly. There's nothing within my capabilities that can send you back to wherever you came from, especially if I have no idea of what your origin looks like.

Well this has to be someone's fault. My magic can't send me to completely different worlds I've never even heard of.

[This is a big "oh shit" moment, if this is turning out to be his new reality.]

[Huh, so that was magic. Arcueid finishes wrapping up his arm and steps back to study her handiwork.]

Well, we're at an impasse then. And you're injured and need to recover. Maybe we can focus on that first.

[He lets his arm fall to his side, rolling his shoulder slowly to test out the feel of the new bandages.]

It's just a shoulder wound. It could have been worse.

[Much worse, maybe, if she hadn't have been there.]

...I have a lot that I need to do back home. I can't afford to sit around and wait.

[She sits down on the bed to cross her arms and drum her fingers.]

Well, you're not gonna get far since this territory is unfamiliar to you.

[He feels a wave of frustration, but he has sense enough not to blame her for it. As such, Noctis lays down on the bed, groaning and frowning up at the ceiling.]

This is ridiculous.

[He glances over at her.] You never explained yourself to me. [As in, her abilities. Surely if she could do something like that, maybe she knew of someone or something that could help him?]

[She seems to bounce a little, with a light of playfulness in her eyes.]

[Noctis is trying to read her, and honestly, it isn't difficult. A child could see that she's a rather... cheerful sort. Much like a child herself, in some ways, he thinks.

Ugh. He doesn't have the energy for this.

He looks up at the ceiling again, and closes his eyes. Maybe he'll wake up and it'll all just be a dream...]

I don't know. You said you were a "monster". But most monsters would've eaten me by now, so I'm guessing you were talking metaphorically.

Metaphorical? I wouldn't say so. [She holds up a hand, making a dismissive gesture.]

I'm definitely a monster. [Seeing as how she does have the means and capability to consume indiscriminately. She certainly doesn't act on it, not if she can help it.]

But I don't really want to eat you if that makes you feel better.

[somnum]

[He opens one eye to look at her again.]

Uhh... not really?

[Should he be alarmed? HE DOESN'T KNOW NOW.]

Do you have anything called a "vampire" where you're from?

[somnum]

You mean, like, from horror novels and scary movies?

[One hand absent-mindedly comes up to rub at his neck, OH GOD...]

[She sees you doing that Noctis, c'mon.]

I didn't drain you last night, by the way. We'd have a different set of problems if that happened.

[He is not sure that is very... reassuring, that you didn't "drain" him.

He stares for a moment, unblinking. He furrows his brows together.]

Yeah, I think we would. I like my blood where it is -- inside of my body. And you don't exactly fit my mental image of what a vampire is.

[Honestly, Noct looks more like a vampire than she does. Dressed in all black, and whatnot.]

[Arcueid chuckles as if pleased.]

Hehe. I'll take that as a compliment. I've gotten that before you know!

[Noctis raises a brow. What a weird girl.

He props himself up on his elbows, looking at her skeptically.]

I can see why. [Since she appears open to talking about these sorts of things, he ventures with another question.] So why didn't you "drain" me? Isn't that what vampires are supposed to do?

I haven't tasted blood in over 800 years. Don't really want to start now in all honesty.

[A vampire that doesn't drink blood? A funny vamp for sure.]
